no drl, these are Vision X LED high beams, 4400lumens each

I wonder if there's a way to wire the solenoid so you don't have to switch it and it comes in with the lights. I need to try and do a relay or something.

I wired mine with a relais directly from the battery. The relais is actuated by the headlight high wire from the factory harness. So the solenoid works like it should.

it's a standard 12V relais. 4 pins, black cube.

86 to the high beam beam switch.

Run what ever wore you have triggering your high beams to the 86 pin
I'm 98% sure running a relay will stop the humming

Two questions. Has anyone else had a problem with the tabs on the lights where screws go. Even my stock ones show signs of the tabs splitting and I've been really careful not to over tighten. Also I just got my truck back from the shop and noticed that they stripped out one of the two end screws that hold the grille on. Anyone have a fix for it?

My grill ones are starting to strip.

As for the tabs on the lights, I see that from time to time.

is there a eta on these plug and play harnesses if you are going to have them for real i will order these 2013 projectors let us all know as i would like a clean factory like install not a mess of wires asap info would be much appreciated thanks.

nothing yet. Parts were sent to my supplier last week, no ETA on when they'll be back at this time.

It's not a bad install if you want to buy the parts. Mines holding up pretty well. JJs will definitely be easier when he gets them in. Maybe cheaper in bulk.

So, got a call today..........

We sent these overseas to a harness maker. They don't know what pins it takes. Stupid.

I ordered 1400 pins today. LOL Then realized that I really ordered a fartload too many. I'll have the big pins for 200 pcs vs 100. All good.

So, the parts are headed back to the states, pins are on the way and they'll be made in the US now. As long as the pins and plugs are back to my supplier by next Friday, I'll have the first couple in my hands on the 18th.

ordered the plugs......then the friggin people said "oh you need these right?". Derr.......so there's 1400 pins at my supplier's now
