If your tach says two grand at 72 miles an hour you have a 3.92.....if not it's a 3.21.

I have a Canadian sold truck as well that spent most of its life in Quebec but the bonus was that it came with a block heater, steering wheel heater and seat heating and air conditioning. Plus barely any surface rust at all.
I don’t know how well it works yet as I bought the truck in January and never bothered to use it. I would imagine as long as the fuse is good and there’s no rust on the plug, it should work fine.
