I put on a Gibson cat-back dual setup on my 6.4 2500. Very pleased with it.

I have the mufflex muffler delete waiting to go on my Power Wagon but I’m concerned it will be too loud. Mufflex wont let you return if you don’t like it so might be listing it on here if I want something quieter.

I have the Mufflex with the Magnaflow on my 2017 Power Wagon and I love it. At first (probably the first 3-5 days) I was kind of discouraged and thought I may have wasted my money. Then it started to change and now it is a nice deep growl.

I wouldn't change it now, and I am happy i didn't go with the full delete.

BTW I kept my resonator.

Any of you guys with the Mufflex notice any MPG gain? I know the HD's aren't Priuses, but every little bit helps!

I put mine on pretty early, so hard to tell. But I did average 17.2 MPG after a 900 mile trip right after putting it on. Cruise was set mostly at 68-72. Best my 1500 ever did was just under 20.

Im going to give it a month at least. Then decide. Let the packing carbon up and firm up some. It will get louder then. Ill re-post here at that time.
U&A any updates?

Mufflex with the magnaflow will be going on my 6.4 this weekend. What If i dont like it

Supposedly this part # only fits the trucks with the leaf springs in the rear 2500 & 3500 year 2014 and up. There is a different part number for the 2500s with the coil springs

I like my 24" on the 5.7L A LOT!

You could always pull it off, put the OEM boat anchor back on, and sell it on let go. :33:

Not really, but at least with the mufflex on I can't hear the clowns trapped in their Prius cooking up against my exhaust manifold anymore.:party33:

So mufflex has 3 different versions (sounds) for the 5.7l. Mild, moderate, and aggressive. Will aggressive just blow your ears out? I want a nice rumble but don't want to be the guy that people hear from a mile away

There's a couple of threads for the 1500 5.7 mufflex options over in the performance category 4th gen etc. .This thread is applicable to the heavy duty 2500 mufflex. FYI, not trying to be an ass , but there is a bunch of info there.

Great question. My guess. Delet with resonator May possibly be louder as a resonator is not technically designed to “muffle” it’s purpose (IMO) is to “break up” the tone you could say.

Honestly though, i just pulled that out of my ass

its between those two mufflex options or a FM super 40 85348 offset in and out and a piece of pipe, more work though. I have listened to every sound clip on YouTube still don't know, Except that I cant stand the chirpy exhaust "they say Is normal". Not wanting too much drone when towing.

I like the FM sound more but with the manifolds on these hemi’s breaking manifold bolts i wanted the hot air out as fast as i can. So MF straight through it was. Im going to get (or make at work... sheet metal fab) a new “Y” connection to increase flow even better

There is a new option that we are bringing in NOW. Solo Performance. its a muffler delete pipe that is 4" in diameter and then reduced to 3.5" to connect to the stock piping. This increases flow thru the S section of the pipe better than any other delete pipe on the market!

We will have this in stock and ready to ship tomorrow! these are currently going for $179 with FREE shipping to the lower 48 US!

I got one for my truck on the way!
