I am looking to install the Inez drop on my 12 quad cab. Has anyone kept the hitch and also towed with the vehicle with the helper airbags?

The Durango bags are good for a 4” lowering spring. I had them installed on my 4/6 they were crushed inside the spring. They will work but don’t know how long they would last like that.

Is this the 4/6 with cut rear springs, or did you leave the rear springs uncut for the 4/4? Your look is the one I am going for; not level, still with a little rake.

i have the durango air lift bags on my inez kit, and they are not smashed and work perfect. it may be that way since i only cut 1 coil from the rear spring. (which net me a 5" drop.) i have only towed a small utility trailer for my motorcycles, but they have worked great.

You mentioned you have a 5" inch rear drop. Glad to hear the bags work for that. Also what components did you use for the rear drop? Did you use relocation brackets? If so which ones?

i used the brackets that came with the full inez kit. the kit includes the rear control arm brackets to lower them in angle and help re-align them "parallel". the springs in the kit iirc, are the same bell tech rears that come with a 2/4 kit. people are getting more than the 4" drop by simply cutting coils from them to achieve their desired height. i only cut 1 full coil which netted me a 5" drop. (should've probably cut 2) from what i remember reading before i ordered this kit was most people were cutting 1.5-2 full coils to achieve the 6" rear drop. hopefully all that is correct, its been a while since i did mine and my memory on the details may be a bit hazy.

Did your kit use the "no cut" brackets or the "cut" brackets. Thanks for the info.

In the front springs, is everyone leaving the cup that goes in the bottom of the spring? Ivan says thats what gives you either the 4”-5” drop

You do not use the bottom bushing from the factory arms, just the top bushing is used in the IHC control arms.

If you want a 5" drop either get the 5" drop control arms or the 4" drop control arms. You can achieve a 5" drop by installing a 1" drop front spring. That's what I was going to do but I'm selling all my suspension stuff.

I have a 3/6 drop on my Ram right now. I am having problems with rubbing the top of the wheel well liner on the left front and rear. Anyone also have this problem? I have a 2" belltech coil up front with one coil cut off to make the 3" drop. I have the belltech 4" coil in the rear with two coils cut off to make a 6" rear drop, also have the cut kit installed. This is what IHC recommend to do to get the 3/5 drop. The ride is great but it rubs every day, gets old after a while. Any help would be great.

Also I seem to be 3/8 lower on the left side, seems to be coming from the left front. I give up..

Shorter and narrower tires would probably be your best option,or raise the truck back up slightly.
