Is a tuner a good mod with NO other supporting mods?

I want to keep my truck virtually stock, but think a tuner can really help. Is this the case if the entire rest of the truck is stock?

Yes. For a stock 08, I would go with a Superchips Flashpaq 3865. This tuner was actually designed for a stock truck, but most of us run the other supporting mods along with it.
