leveled vs suspension lift

Can someone help me understand what a suspension lift gets me, vs what a Bilstein level gets me? Seems like the do almost the same thing, but not exactly.

More height, Bilstein maxes out at 2.8".

JB helped me out with a little more detail. The suspension lifts change out key hardware parts to keep the geometry safe, whereas the Bils just use existing parts and subject the parts to a little bit of stress.

now I'm good.

2.8 bils or lift 4-6 inches plus more. Change out all old parts for new parts a lot more involved
