    Hello all,

Well two weeks ago my 2012 Ram 1500 ST 5.7l had a few lights come on in the dash. I pulled over and restarted the truck, all the lights went out. I thought all was fine until the same lights came on three more time since then.

When it happened again today I took a couple of pictures to share. Illuminated lights are as follows:

    Trailer controller - CF
    Traction control light
    Service 4WD
    No trailer symbol
All rear brake lights are on like I'm holding the brake pedal down
    Service trailer soon

I ran the built-in engine code reader and no codes came up. When this happens I cannot use cruise control and the brake lights stay on while driving like I'm applying the brake pedal. I can see the third eye brake light on in the back of the truck. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Moses

My friend had this problem and found out it was a antilock brake sensor was causing the problem. Had it replaced and all is good now

You need to get an actual scan tool on there that can read communication and ABS codes. Even the built in key dance one only shows powertrain codes.

I went into the local auto parts store and used the code reader. I also noticed in the sticky that it skips P0572. Here is what came up:

I had this problem for many years, tried everything like speed sensors, connectors and so. Its horrible cz I could not engage 4wd as a desert driver. Finally I unpluged the 4wd actuator connector and cleaned it, now its fine. Its behind passenger side brake, disconnect it, blow with air and electrical degreaser and try. If it won't work it will not harm or cost you anything. Tell us if it works. Chears

Looks like there's a good chance you need a brake switch.

You beat me too it. I had very similar codes on my 14 Sport and it was the brake switch on the brake pedal.
