After months of agonizing over what to buy I finally stopped by the tire shop to order Mastercraft MXTs in 295/70/18. About an hour later the guy called me and said the distributor had 2 in stock and they weren't back in production until spring Back to agony

In that price range and size i would not get anything else but the new Cooper ST pro's. they are a very good tire for the price. And super strong sidwalls. I wanted them in the 285/75/18 but its not an option

I was quoted $301 for ST PRO in 275/70/18. I was going to be getting MXTs for $220. So unfortunately that isn't an option.

And fo what is worth (completely different vehicle). A guy at my work has the MXT's and isnt to fond of the traction on rain and snow.

Did that price include mounting on the STT Pro's? I bought a set of 305/70/18 on ebay with free shipping and no taxes for $1192. The seller on ebay was Discount Tire Direct. The stock size would be cheaper than that if they have them listed on ebay. I would guess $100 or more cheaper in that size.

The quote I was given would include mount/balance/disposal.

I ended up getting Terra Grappler G2, they are being installed now for about $225/ per

Went with stock - 275/70/18

Price was like $300 to up to go up an inch
