Ill hop in the game. my 2008 4.7 will hit 273,*** by tonight..... Almost trouble free the whole way. No engine issues, no trans issues. Lost a set of bearings in the rear axle and broke 1 rear axle. Replaced front hubs and ac condenser motor.
4 sets of tires, 1 set front hubs, 1 set rear calipers, 3 sets front rotors, 2 sets rear rotors, had drive shaft rebuilt (dealer though the noise i was hearing was drive shaft, it was rear axle bearings so rebuild not necessary) 2 sets shocks, 4 sets front brake pads, 3 sets rear pads, 1 control arm, 2 serpentine belts, and a set of cats...
Now FYI i have had EVERY recommended service done with the exception of fuel injector cleaning done by dodge at factory recommend intervals..
Bought truck new @ 4 miles. so far 273, going for 750k AND i tow a 16x8 cargo trailer regularly @ 5k lbs.....
motor still runs like a champ, no oil burning, no leaks / knocking /pinging or hesitation....
That is very inspiring mileage on your truck! Is your water pump and radiator original?
My 181k on my 2008 4.7 seems paltry now.
