Im looking to get a few answers. I want to lift my truck, I have a 2011 outdoorsman, so im supposed to have heavier shocks. would i be fine with just getting the spacers or should i look at still replacing the struts in the front and coils in the back. looking at getting a 4" lift and running some 33x10.5x17

Gotcha...well few options. If you're on a budget...you could do a 3" body lift and a leveling kit. Or do the body lift and Bilstein leveling shocks.

Or..you could do a suspension lift. Zone Offroad makes a 4" and a 6" for your truck. The price difference is marginal..few hundred.

With a 2" level kit I'm running 35s. Since yours is an Outdoorsman it's .7" taller than mine from the factory, making it even easier for you to clear 35s with just a level. If you go a 4" suspension, you'll want to run 35s. If you consider a 4" I'd say instead go with a 6" - it's only a couple hundred more. You can run 35s or 37s if you wanted to. Many that have gone with 4" have wished they had gone with a 6" - just something to keep in mind.

If you want a 4" though - look into Rancho - the back is lifted with longer struts, not blocks which I think is better. If you'll consider a 6" look into either Pro Comp or Rough Country.

Just to give you an idea, here's mine, 2" front coil spacer and 295/65R20 (35.5x12.2x20) Nitto Trail Grapplers.

Here's a pic of a guys truck from another forum. He's got a 4" Rancho lift and 35s. His is a TRX so yours would sit exactly like this with a 4"

LOL, it's not too late to lift yours. And since you bought a 4x4, I wouldn't have to question your judgement for lifting a 2wd. Come on, the sound of a $2500 lift, $1200 tires and a lost of 2 mpg doesn't sound appealing? :D

I ran 35” tires on my very first lift, 3” Daystar body lift.
Went right to 37” after my 6” lift on top of the 3” body lift.

I may switch around my rim sizes, but won’t go less than 37” now. Mileage sucks, but have to pay to play!

You brought up this thread from year 2011 to let everybody know you did a 6” lift with 35’s?
