How would you not know it doesn't have 360 camera? That is something I would have played with before signing papers. It can be added aftermarket for most cars - the problem is integrating into the screen. If a piece like the CH41 works on the 19s, then this would be fine.
You may have wanted to play with it, I did not ( seen it on a pacifica) It is on the window sticker that we looked at with all the other options we wanted. When we drove it, It was backed into a spot never payed much attention to it.

Yep, frustrating for sure. Hopefully it's something simple like a loose connection or something not PDI'd properly.

Dealer service departments often are not fully up to speed on brand new models either, which can add another element to it.

Super nice looking truck!!
The bad part is my wife goes to work at 6:00 am she has to take a flash light with her since there is no lights inside.

Might just be a bad bulb. I am curious why she needs a flashlight though my 2013 Laramie is lit up from everywhere when I open the door.

There are no lights inside the cab, that make it easy for my wife to put her teaching crap that she takes to her classroom everyday.

Since I was told it was there and charged for it, It needs to be there. I now see from another post that it was a mistake from FCA on the window sticker. Since I was charged I want it installed or more reasonable a refund.
Well it can’t be installed without changing the mirrors and probably some programming would need to be done.. I see it as you have two options, ask for some money back or ask for another truck, but you’ll lose the tow mirrors... not sure if you really need them or not. GL

Its a royal crap ton of wiring. Guarantee the dealer wont do it; if anything it'll be a buyback and put you in a different truck

As I said at the end of my sentence I think a refund is more reasonable. I think it would be very unreasonable for someone to demand it to be installed.

so, some semi bad news for you. You did not pay for those cameras. Or at least, the dealer didn't.

Surround View Camera Delete Credit is on your build sheet.

I can't see where it's at though. Looking at your standard equipment in the level 1 group, the standard base price is 2500 bucks. The surround system was likely removed from invoice, and that's why they were able to give you a little off the top ( more or less ). Bottom line, they won't be providing you the truck refund, or a buy back / replace. Never going to happen. If anything it's a 300-600 dollar invoice adjustment, and they made it up by not telling you. they will likely offer you some service or something.

Is it possible that the dimmer switch is turned passed the detent? On my Ram trucks, I can eliminate the interior lights when opening the door. Just an idea.

It's a 200 dollar difference. but you're logic is still wrong. YOU did not pay for that surround system. You couldn't have, the build sheet shows it was credited. The truck was discounted at some point to account for this. Be it in the form of an invoice, or on the sticker. Bottom line, this is not an FCA issue, it's a dealer issue.

I get your frustrated, but the build sheets are, in my experience, almost never wrong. Else they would be in a world of hurt. If it says it was credited, then it was. It may be better to ask FCA MASTER ( he's on here somewhere, maybe shoot him a pm ), or call up the 1800 number and play stupid, and ask them what the deletion credit is for. Once you know for an absolute FACT, call the dealer and ask them about it. you purchased a 64k truck, you paid a premium. The dealer does NOT want to purposely screw you, I promise. It's possible the other mirrors made up for the ones wth camera's in them. This happens all the time with ram and other FCA type vehicles. they get additional options, then they get deleted in other aspects of the build.

I.E, my durango has the ralleye package. It comes with roof rails, but the ralleye package deletes them, even though the roof rails costs money, I'm basically paying to have them deleted. Its just the way it works. That's how it was built, because some monkey that makes the orders sucks at life.

Nice truck!! I know it’s frustrating when something isn’t right with a brand new vehicle, but try to be patient and realistic. At least give them a chance to make it right. Tech is advancing faster than mechanics can learn to master it. If they cannot resolve it to your satisfaction, then ramp it up. Just my $0.02

By the way, I thought FCA was going to give customers a benefit for the inconvenience, be it service or extra cash.
