Emptied the can today,

Last dump @ 8850 miles,
This dump @ 9882 miles,
Pennzoil PP 5w-20, did not smell like gas or anything unusual, just oil. Mostly highway miles.

Just installed the Billet Tech Catch Can, will update with photos when I start having to dump it! Easiest mod I've ever done, hoses were exact length needed and was installed in under 15mins.

I've only had my OCC for about 10k , and I have about 3/4 qt of nasty **** comprising of condensation , unburnt fuel, carbon deposits and of course vented oil in my dump bottle !
So in 40K it's possible a gallon of crap has made its way down your engine gullet

I'm actually thinking of sending my occ dump to Blackstone labs to run an analysis on it , just to see how bad that crap is if I do I'll post the results here .

so, ive seen some really nasty pictures of oil lined internals on intake manifolds........is there an easy way to clean them out? I have 13,000 miles on my truck and am just about to add my moroso cc that came the other day, but i'd like to have my intakes internals as clean as possible.

Have you looked at your intake yet ? Chances are it still looks close to brand new with only 13k

Emptied my catch can at about 1500 miles. This is the most I've gotten out of it in this short amount of mileage. Look at the nasty sludgy stuff at the bottom of the cc after I emptied it. The bottle is what I've caught using my cc since Sept '14 when I installed it. Probably about 10000 miles worth. Glad this isn't in my intake!

Sir , it's not too late , I can assure you of that !
@ 40k your engine is still a great candidate for an oil catch can.
A good read @ www.oilcatchcan.com

Thank you. I read the whole article and learned something. Looks like, before I buy more LED lighting (which I love), I will be buying a CC.
