I just figured out I never did a build thread of the ol' economy truck.
New:
04 Ram 1500 RCSB 4x4, 3.92, power everything, sun roof (added by local shop before I bought the truck), leather seats also done by the shop, bed rails, side steps, fender flares
Afternoon I brought it home
1st year:
Window tint 35% on sides and 5% on back
K&N 77 series intake
Hypertec tuner ( ended up frying my PCM)
Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 SI/DO
Stick on hood and laid on stripes
Replaced stick on with OEM SRT
Got the stripes sprayed on
Left it alone for awhile then decided I wanted to cam it. First time around 6.1 cam reground by Stu at Inertia Motorsports. During that time I picked up my Fastman ported TB. Ran a SCT tuner through Sean. A/F wideband through AEM.
First cam swap:
Ran the truck for a year that way and popped #3 piston racing in the sand.
Replaced the piston and rod with a new one and slipped in a Crazy Spartan from Stu on a 112 LSA. Ran SCT tune through Sean and added a AI meter. Put on a Magnaflow Y pipe.
Test and tune at local track

That lasted me another year till I tossed 2 rods... yay me. Sad thing is happened in the sand again.
Hooked up with King Motorsports and grabbed an 06 5.7 out of a very low mile 300C. Tossed on a set of PWR heads, Pacesetter Longtubes, reused my Crazy Spartan, 6.1 injectors, ORY, Full Boar single chamber muffler dumped. Dave from EFI Spec doing my tuning with a DSP.
Loaded up to go to the dyno:
Open headers, base tune

All finished up with dropped idle
