2022 Ram 3500 with only 4,000 miles on it. I was pulling a flatbed trailer with only about 2,500lbs on it through the mountains of KY & TN. Why would my new truck be throwing a "exhaust gas recirculation flow excessive detected"? Stock except for the Banks CAI. Would a wire that come back loose from the install cause this? It might be all in my head but I felt it had just a little less power & that the exhaust brake lost about half of it's stopping power. Again that might just be all in my head.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this, we certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you end up addressing this with your local dealer, please let us know via PM. We'd be more than happy to provide you with an additional layer of assistance for that process.

I kind of would like to wipe the code off & see if it shows up again on my 300 mile trip home. Do I have to unhook both batteries to do this? The kid at the auto store didn't wipe it off.

Are you 100% sure all of the connections are tight from the CAI install, also an air leak could cause problems too...
