Hey guys-
Looking for options for a single drivers side sub on my 05 quad cab. I really don't want to use the passenger side so I have at least some room for my stuff. However, if the sound is much better on oass side I may have to go that route.

I have a Kenwood DVD head unit w an Aline 45x4 rms watt amplifier for my 6 Memphis audio door/dash speakers already.

I'm a professional musician, so I'm looking for good quality sound, not "rattle the neighbors face" sound. Lol.

Prepowered vs stand alone amp?

I'm looking for the most economical option. I was told by my local audio shop I was looking at $400 for a wooden enclosure or $600 for fiberglass. Those proces are for enclosure, sub,amp and install.

Just wondering what you guys have come across. Thanks a ton!

Kicker offers a nice upgrade subwoofer. Sounds much better than just the stock system.
