Fenders: $350

06-08 Dodge Ram Fenders - FiberwerX Off Road Fiberglass

Bedsides $500

02-08 Dodge Ram Bedsides - FiberwerX Off Road Fiberglass

The big $$$ is in the suspension and frame mods....if he were to go all out, he would need a 4 link out back.

Those front fenders really aren't all that bad...

The fenders are that much but the amount of body work to get the fit and finish right is where the cost come in. If you cant do body work you better start :superhack: your arm off now.lol

So no long travel components at all?

Boo...lol

agreed if you dont do the long travel then you can use it like it is supposed to. it would basicly be for looks. The long travel suspension systems not only provide alot of trave but also give it that wider track stance.

ive been thinking about doing the same except parting together a long travel kit. king 2.5 up front 14" travel and king 2.0 shocks in the rear. ends up being like 3100 vs the 7k kit that kore has.

Idk, 4 grand is a lot to save up for.

And I didn't have a job to get the parts to lower it. So that's why I didn't.

On 3rd strike I have a 6 inch lift in the cart, for 1,400 something like that.

Unless I come across a **** load of money, I won't be getting the fox suspension.

LOL if you want to go for the pre runner look I'd do it right there's a thread on another forum where a guy with a 6" fabtech did a liitle jump and his knuckle broke along with wheel and tire flew off it was a 2wd as well if you want it lifted for looks and mild offroading you will be OK but a prerunner set up will cost money don't cheap out on it especially if you plan to use it for what a pre runner is

If you're doing it just for looks, I'd honestly have to go with no, but it's just not my style to build something to look at. Not trying to discourage your idea, just giving my honest opinion. I'd say put that money into performance and do a level kit, small body lift and run some aggressive meats and that would look good too.

Moderate off roading. Nothing spectacular.

That's what I'm trying to do, but everyone is saying lift it. I only want about 4 inches of lift.

Anything bigger then a 33 will be a tight squeeze with a 4" lift on a 2wd

thats a ford not a dogde two differant setups. But with the fenders they will allow you to clear some more room.
