I still have my original key fobs for my 2008 ram, but they have seen their days and I would like to replace them. Has anybody here done that in the DIY fashion and without having to go to a dealership and pay an arm and a leg? If so, could you let me know where I could order a new key fob and what to do to reprogram the new key fobs to match my OEM ones?

Thanks!

Not sure what style fob you have, but you may be able to get replacement cases - check amazon. These usually come with the button insert as well. Take the guts out of your old fobs, put in the new cases, add a new battery and it'll be just like new fobs for a fraction of the cost.

My Charger fob is probably like yours, I took the guts out and put it in a folding key.
