speed of 111mph on nav when new truck picked up, why/how?

Hi all

im a newbie and just found out of this site.

while checking out the features of my 2017 laramie i went to the navigation trip information, and there was a field of top speed traveled, and it was 111 mph

i confronted my dealer of it and never got a satisfactory response, it was driven 17 miles on the dealer prep (which wasnt done correctly/completely)road test

is that the norm that the nav computer shows 111mph on a new vehicle or did something funny go on?

btw, the mileage on the truck when the dealer received it was 1 mile, when i picked it up it had 18

There was another thread about this somewhere and it had to do with some kind of tests they perform every so often on a random truck at the factory. They don't really go 111 mph it was some kind of test simulation. Don't worry, some 18 year old kid didn't take your truck out and beat it.

I bet they really went 120, but the navigation cut off at 111!

Well, I have had the GPS on my boat say I did over 300 mph several times.

It WILL do 75, but not 300+................

My Rebel had 22 miles on it when I picked it up. Nothing like that on my navigation.
