Ordered a dash cam, shorty antenna, and a TON of dynamat. Hopefully I can get it installed sometime.

Also, currently mulling over a 7.2L or 7.4L high compresson shortblock. We shall see.

You're gonna need that big motor with the 300lbs of Dynamat you're about to add...haha

Dude tell me about it...

Whatever I end up doing for a sub system, I'm probably going to make it removable so I can shed the weight.

So after using the Peragon tonneau for a few weeks I officially don't like it. The rails are just way too flimsy for my taste. I'm going to contact them and see about a partial refund or I'll just resell it.

Also, I picked up a set of 17"x8" wheels and some drag radials. Hopefully the tires will be in today so I can get them mounted and balanced before the drag strip tomorrow night. I tried to spray paint the wheels in my garage using some Dupli-color wheel spray paint, but that didn't end well. There are quite a few particulates in the paint. Oh well, these aren't show wheels.

Honestly I think I'm gonna get another cheap set of wheels and send them off to be widened for next year. That would be cool.

Ran a 13.4 friday night. Dissapointing, but I also wasn't running the correct tune. Whoops hahaha.

Going back out this friday. Pulled my clutch fan and ordered an exhaust cutout. Planning on pulling the rear bumper and possibly the front sway bar and exhaust. Not sure yet.

I also picked up a HD bumper on the cheap so I guess I'm starting that conversion. Still investigating hoods and grills. Might end up having to do some fabrication work. We shall see.

I ordered a grill for the HD front end swap, but it was damaged on arrival so I sent it back. I think I'm just going to stick with the 1500 front end, so if anyone wants a HD bumper in Houston, I've got one for sale lol.

Went ahead and ordered a lowering kit from Moe's along with and all adjustable Spohn setup. I also picked up the QA1 single adjustable shocks and everything needed to do that. I'm throwing in some helper bags as well in case I need to tow. Hopefully I'll have everything but the shocks in this weekend if the weather holds out and I can get some space to work.

I also ordered a VIS racing CF hood. It won't be here for another three or four weeks, but I have enough to keep me busy lol.

I'm planning on updating the OP here soon once I get the suspension done.

I want to see how that hood comes out. I'm going to be running a dragpak intake with the new motor, and a functional and lightweight SRT style hood would be perfect.

My thoughts exactly. I should be able to datalog the MAP sensor to see if there's any positive air pressure that would indicate a ram effect.

Oh, there will be pics on pics on pics!

Got all my suspension parts from Moe's. I'm quite impressed with these parts, especially the adjustable arms.

All I need now are my QA1s from Summit and I'll be set to do the install this weekend!

Dude, you can't say that and not post pics, lol!

Haha I haven't had the chance to get pics yet. My life is very busy right now lol. That's what I get working 10 hour days and commuting 700 miles a week. Wake up at 5, leave at 6, get to work at 7, leave work around 6, get home at 7 if I'm lucky, in bed at 9. Doesn't leave time for much else.

I'm going to try and get some of the stuff in this weekend, but there's a volunteer deal my work is required me to help with this weekend, so idk.

The Spohn arms are beefy, huh?
Hahaha yes they are. Can't complain about them at all!

Finally got around to unpacking everything and laying it out for a hopeful installation this weekend.

If there's anyone in the Houston area that wouldn't mind helping, I'm more than happy to buy you food, beer, etc in exchange for some help hahaha. I may not even attempt to do it all this weekend, but we shall see.

I'm not 100% on these helper bags... They seem way too sort. I may experiment with the normal bags vs these. We shall see.

Didn't get any of the suspension done lol.

I was going to try and install my TYC v6 fan, but I don't want to extend my wiring harness so I'm looking into buying some OEM connectors to create an extension of sorts. Should be nice and clean.

Shooting for next week on the suspension. I need to round up some help.

Got everything but my control arms in this week. They're going in today and I'll get an alignment.

Also picking up a UD pulley.

Trying to find a set of OEM spindles for some mad scientist type experiments. We'll see what comes of it.

Picture Time!

This is why you don't use a pickle fork to take off your ball joints like Belltech says to.
