Ready for pics and measurements. Lol

Here you go. :)

I had 70PSI in the tires for both the before and after pics, the front springs are 3" Thuren leveling springs in both pics. The rear springs are stock in the before pics, and 1" lift Thuren springs in the after pics.

Looks like a whole new truck! And what he said^^^

Thanks. I like how level it looks too. :happy107:

The ride is definitely much better. Before the rear springs the front would absorb big bumps, then the rear would feel like it was coming off the ground, now both ends absorb the bumps. You still feel the bumps, but the harshness these trucks have in the rear on bumps is gone.

On tires I'm sticking with something in the 35" range, as thirsty as the Hemi is now, I think 37's would hurt my pocket book too much. I'm thinking either a Toyo RT in 285/75/18, or a Cooper ST Maxx in 295/70/18.

Install easy? See u didn't put the rear sway bar back on. I've had mine off for awhile and think it rides a lot better. Oh and I'm actually running the 295/70r18 on mine and think it's a good sized tire for these trucks

The passenger side went on super easy. The driver side was a little difficult, if I had pulled the rear track bar it wouldn't have been a problem, with the track bar still on I had to use a coil spring compressor to get the spring in. The upper shock mounts are a little tight to get to also. I plan on getting extended sway bar links at some point and putting the rear sway bar back on, at least for towing.

Did any of you guy have twitchy handling after instal and alignment? I am heading in for another alignment to try to fix this next week and wanted to see what fix you have already found.

Mines fine. Just took the alignment specs that come with the kit with me.

Thanks. Trusting the shop, I did the same but did not check the results. They put it back to stock. I will make sure the new shop does it to the Thuren spec.

I'm on my way now to pick up my truck from getting rustproofing and ceramic coating. I'll take some measurements when I get home and report back.

Sorry for the delay, been traveling a lot. I just ran out to my truck with a tape and measured approximately 82" to the shark fin. I'm on a hill and was eye balling it so that is give or take a few inches. It's close enough to 7' that I never want to try any parking garages that low.

Finally got some bigger tires on my truck, I ended up getting new wheels too, the chrome on the other set wasn't doing too well. I went with 35x12.5x17's on some Raceline rims that are a favorite of mine. So far I haven't noticed any rubbing.

Just got done installing the springs, shocks and track bar. All went well without any real issue. I had trouble getting the rear shocks off. Ended up cutting them out. Other than that the front end work is a piece of cake. Didn't have enough time to get the tires installed today. I'll get them on this coming week.

After finishing up, on the test drive the steering wheel is way out. Like 40 degrees out. See the pic below. Is that expected after doing the springs and track bar? I'll be getting it aligned tomorrow. It drives perfectly straight without any issues other than the steering wheel is way out.

First impressions is it drives a lot smoother. Soaks up bumps better. Not jarring like before. Doesn't hop and skip anymore either. I'm liking it so far. Gotta get some more time in the seat to really know more. Looking forward to straightening out my steering wheel and getting the new tires on.

Here are some pics. Before and after shots etc. I didn't take any pics of the rear shocks but they look identical to the fronts. 793992295acb3d57edbf2bde6dc94fcd.jpg3dcbce44500200b58e6de14690f57ee7.jpg222ac45240efa2b2846fcbfb0c0593e7.jpgaffdab2eee66a47c35aabc7729ff0660.jpgc771a1f3a31c816bd432324e9c0e4d27.jpgd2d03074736b602b0c4f66fb14ff0082.jpg2194071f3aafd864c7a4a4008bdc781a.jpg83a09dc0db86e9cb1e0f2b401494e15f.jpg6a408b56e8cf58fb18598e25bed2de23.jpg

Are their any benefits with the way you mounted the shocks? I’ve seen both ways, just wondering which way to go with. I would think that flipping yours would decrease water/dust/dirt..

That's the only way they will mount.
They are pin top and bolt through on the bottom.
I'm sure Thuren has done their r&d and knows what's best for our rides.
