The time has come for me to get new tires, running 35x12.5r20... and I'm trying to get a good idea of what I'll be getting, looking for recommendations. I do mostly street and highway driving, with some periodic boat towing. Also, since I'm in North Texas, there's a lot of dirt and a lot of rain so I'd also like DECENT traction in the mud also. Currently I'm running Toyo Open Country MT but was wondering if I could get better performance and more miles from an aggressive AT rather than another MT.

Any feedback or opinions are welcome!

I run stock Falken Wildpeaks. Ran Toyo's on my Wife's F-150. Both decent tires. Really comes down to what U want to pay, run, and how hard U Play with yer ride. But than my truck is stock and not lifted and I do not have Air Suspension either, LOL...

Thank you! That actually looks very similar to the Toyos... how are they in rain and mud?

I’ve had open country AT 2’s, on my 3/4 ton for a while just put AT 3’s on my half ton, love them, snow and rain are good and not to loud, good tires

You'll probably get a thousand different suggestions, so here's mine. I run Mickey Thompson ATZP3 Hybrids in that size. Part MT part AT. I drive in wet, dry, hot, sand, occasional ice, curves, 80mph and they seem to do it all pretty good. I believe have a 45k mile warranty. A little spendy, but I found them for $100 off each so keep your eyes peeled before you pull the trigger on any tire. They are made in a USA factory by a USA company. I had Toyo M/T's on a previous truck and loved them. Bought off-brand imports for my last Ram and hated them. They were out of round and wouldn't balance no matter how many times I paid to have them done. Many good tires out there and most will treat you well, but I urge you to stay mainstream and even better, buy from 'Merica.

Sorry I don't have a pic of the tread, but you can find that at Mickey T's website I'm sure.

I'm also shopping for tires. Have my rims showing up in 2 weeks. XF offroad XF-222 20x10 rim. Like everyone else, looking for a good tire m/t or aggresive a/t 35x12.5r20 for a good price. Chinese tires don't get great reviews, but toyos and nitto's run up the bill. So what's a good middle ground guys are running

Leveled mine with Thuren & their website’s first choice for tires was toyo’s second was the nitto’s. The shop that did the work also recommended nitto’s, quiet on the road, good durability & seems to do well in rain. I haven’t had them in mud yet but hope to soon! Love them so far.

Just installed these Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts and am currently driving through a 10 day vacation through the Midwest/south... awesome tires, quiet, great gas mileage and yet still aggressive looking with good off road traction. Not as good as Nitto or other true off road tires but a great compromise. Love them so far

Another vote for Falken. These are outstanding. Switched over from BFG's

I think you'll be happy with a set of Cooper STT Pro. A Tad cheaper than Toyo, about 8-9 lighter, and you won't loose the aggressive cool looking factor plus you'll have more traction in the mud compared to AT tires.
