2008 Ram, halfton, Hemi, 4x4, automatic, yadda, yadda, yadda... Only has a little over 60k on the clock but, the other day, I was turning off the main street onto another one to pull into the grocery store parking lot. Well, as I was slowing down to pull in, as I went to ease on the gas pedal to pull in, I realized the motor died. Started right up with no issues. No CEL light came on. Went in, shopped, came back out, fired up the truck and went home, no issues. Well, as I was turning off the highway onto my dirt road, I noticed the RPM's fell waaay down, but came back up. Thought it was kinda weird. Plus, at the same time it did that this time, I had the headlights on and they got a little dim for a second but came back.
For quite some time now I've noticed that almost every morning as I go to accelerate after backing out of my driveway that my headlights will go dim for a second but, there's no change on engine rpm.
Think this is related? Anybody else had a similar issue? Also if it matters, my truck is the Laramie so, it's got traction control on it too. Thanks.
