What does everyone recommend for 5.7 03 Hemi tuner? I am looking into different ones at the moment, and I was leaning towards a Bully Dog the 40440 is what they told me would work for my truck, I am looking to get better mileage and I do haul sometimes so it would be nice to get one installed. Performance wise if it were to quicken the truck and change it a bit I would definitley not mind the 03 I dont think you can mod the engine as much though? From what I was told anyways

The Superchips Flashpaq is going to give you the most bang for buck on a new tuner. With yours being an 03, you wont be able to adjust shift points, but you can still raise your speed limiter, rev limiter, adjust the speedo for larger tires, and the performance and mileage increases are definitely noticeable as well. I would go that route over the Bullydog on your 03.

My 03 gained right at 20hp/20tq at the rear wheels with the Superchips.

I added a superchips 3865 to mine, running the performance tune, and it has 35's and a 5" suspension lift and it can spin em', easy to feel also played with rev limiter, think it is at 6100?

Superchips 3714, 3715, 3815 or 3865. 3714 is 03 hemi specific, the 3715 includes it, 3815 is better (and smaller), 3865 has features you won't even be able to use (but the datalogging stuff is cool). I have a 3865 that I replaced my 3715 with.

Is the 3865 the best for an 04' also? I have the same question only I have an 04' 5.7

Yes. Unless you plan to get a custom tune, then the Flashpaq 3865 is the way to go for your 04 as well.

Update: Got the superchip 3865 have only had it for a week and I am running it on 87 octane gained 2-3 mpgs easily, really happy with it so far
