Has anybody with a 2015 gotten this update? Can you turn on the backup camera in the apps like you can in the 2016s?

My 2015 got updated and I didn't check the camera. I'll go check it out.

Edit: Yeah, I didn't have any option to turn camera on.

It will be an Over The Air update. Voluntary acceptance at first, then after a time it will be forced, at least that was what I understood.

Complete disaster taking it to the dealer.

Like stated earlier I updated and now the USB does not work
After calling the dealer and Ram and both of them pointing at the other I made an appointment at the dealer to have them fix it.
So I dropped it off this morning and after having it all day they still do not know how to fix it, they said they had a call into Chrysler to see if they had any ideas but have not heard back from them as of my 3:00 pm pick up time.

I only wish the nightmare was over, while at the dealer it seems the tech slammed my door into something and now my drivers side door has a scratch in right below the handle so I have to look at every time I open it. Worse yet they did not point it out to apologize, I found it after they gave me the keys and was ready to leaver.

I realize this has to sound like I am making it up, as no one could be this un lucky and no dealership could have this level of incompetence
I wish I were , but this is how my day has gone

So here I am completely frustrated waiting on the service Manager to get back to me.

Don't get me wrong, once I showed them the scratch they were very apologetic and said they will make it right, just kills me and on top of it all my USB still does not work so I am stuck listening to the crappy stations in my area

I would try unplugging it and plugging it back in from the back of the radio (grey connection). It sounds like the firmware you received has the wrong driver for the media hub.

Man, that sucks!! I would have pissed beyond pissed.
That is why I HATE taking my vehicles to the dealerships. I don't actually, if I can avoid it. (My buddy has a shop that he owns with his work buddy.) Some of the techs at dealerships can be real dip****s. No one cares as it's not their own vehicle.

Just for reference...

I upgraded my uconnect system on Friday and now when I put my truck in reverse, the backup camera has a super washed out look. Like the brightness setting is way too high. Interestingly, when I first start up the truck it looks fine, wait 5 seconds, and it's washed out. Is this a setting or is it just how it's going to be?

I am having the same issue!! Although it looks like moisture has gotten behind the lens cover when you look at it. I had assumed that was the cause but now I wonder if it was the update.

At this time the Over the Air update is only being released in the United States however the software update may be released via USB in other countries as well. Impossible because my 13 has already updated! I hate it...wish I could go back to the old version because the Sirius xm album artwork looks dumb as hell, half the time its just a ugly ass blue square with the channel name, and sometimes its not even the correct channel! My FACTION XL channel name has a Anthony and Opie logo, hasnt been Anthony for over 2 years now so wth...I wish I could go back to just the big channel logos!
