I never thought I would get rid of chrome........hell, or that I would run black wheels. How the times have changed.

I like the back a HELL of a lot more than the front. Something seems "off" with the front, and I hope its just that I don't have my lights on it yet. If not.........well.........may nab a 2013 bumper for it in a few months. LOL (shoot me now!)

Haha like i said, they both look great but i like the way the chrome breaks up the silver and black on your truck.

I would love to run color matched bumpers but that just seems like way too much work. haha.

work? eh. LOL.........$$ is more like it.

I think I did alright........I have $500 in bumpers, one brand new, one used. Paint was, well - less than 200? Painter helped install them. Back was CAKE. Front, took 2 hours. Heads, grill, bumper top all off......then swap all the stuff to the new bumper. (yes I could have gotten the bumper off like I did with my body lift, but I didn't want to pull down those front mounts again........I didn't need a bath in **** again )

I think you will want a sport bumper....I think you should consider that in the near future

Reason why I went with the lower Lone Star was because of the Chrome "Metal" bumpers. Plastic Bumpers doesn't last long at all. My fathers ranger has them, it is a 2010 with 8000 miles on it... And the Bumper has been ruined from rock chips... He only goes back and forth to work in it...

My Vette is getting bad too... Texas roads are clean, but the bugs are that of Alien proportions. Just chips and cracks for DAYS. :/ I was all ready to buy the sport, and walked out to look at it one more time, leaned up against the bumper to talk to my buddy who was with me, and the damn thing almost caved in.... Just don't like to have plastic things on my truck that would more or less be about as useful as a crap flavored lolly pop when I get into an accident at 30+mph.

I think area must have a lot to do with that. I have over 10k on the odometer and I don't have any chips or major marks in my sport bumper

I think you will want a sport bumper....I think you should consider that in the near future

As mentioned......plastic bumpers - not for me. That, and I do a bit of swapping of lights, I am not pulling the bumper each time I want to screw with my fogs. LOL

Question.....are the mirrors in the plan for some color matching too?

I was thinking about it today, but I don't think so..........not for now anyway.
