Looks like it's time for new shoes. I tried to find a used tire since my the other three have about a years worth of tread on them but apparently finding a decent used tire isn't as easy as it used to be.

I got a price on a set of Firestone Destinations LE2s, anybody have any experience with them. Guy at the tire shop says they will ride better than the OE Goodyears and they wear like rocks.

That sucks, they have a good bit of life left on them... Could you feel that while driving?

LE2s are an ok tire and just about anything will ride better than the stock SRA's. Take a look at Toyo ST2's or the open country HT. These will outperform most highway tires on the market and the ST2's have a nice custom look to them.

How many miles on that tire? Maybe just get the manufacturer to pro-rate and replace that one to buy you some time.

Try craigslist for a used tire. I found 2 of them for $50 with 80% tread left.

Oh hell yes. It felt light driving with a square wheel. I thought it was going to shake my truck to pieces.

That Tire went flat a little more than a week ago. I took it to the local tire shop and they yanked a 4 inch deck screw out of it and plugged it up. It was fine for a few days then I guess the belts inside came apart.

The tires have 30000 miles on them. I'm not sure what they were originally rated at but I would think 30000 would be about the minimum. Just by looking at them I figure those tires had another year on them at least. Maybe I can unload the 3 good ones on CL and offset some of the cost of new ones.

By the way. The price I got on the Firestones was $860 tax included, out the door. Thoughts?

They lose grip anytime there is any kind of moisture on the road. They are **** in the snow. I even have trouble getting them to hook when it's dry out. It feels like every time I pull away from a stop sign that one of them is spinning.

My favorite tires were the Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus awesome tracion reasonable price at $137 each they are very reasonably priced. I can't speak for longevity but I can speak for wet and snow traction.
