where you at 3g guys? wake up folks, yall are slacking today!

I’m working on getting a set of traction bars ordered tommorow. Gotta decide between a basic dual long bar setup or a single anti-wrap setup

Also I’m selling my 03 fenders tonight, making a couple extra bucks for more mods.
Next week I plan on buying a TCI Outlaw shifter from a member. So that’s my projects I have planned

well unless you plan to remove your fuel tank id stick with the single anti wrap, that way you can fabricate it in a way that doesnt hang down as low as the dual bars and doesnt cost you ground clearance.

with the right custom exhaust you can run the sing bar parallel to the driveshaft and virtually not lose any ground clearance, almost exactly like its shown in the picture...

in my mind im either going low or higher, on my truck my bar is a wishbone style and it goes on top of the axel, but the white truck in the pic lost everything a lift could give you with those bars attached to the bottom of the frame like that

For me ground clearance is the least of my worries, I don’t care if it hangs down. This will be function over beauty. My main concern with the dual long bars is binding the leaf springs for normal suspension travel. It will never go off road, so I’m not worried about articulation, just normal movement. The anti wrap bar is nice because it has the shackle for movement. I’m gonna call Ruff Stuff tonight and talk with them. For looks, I’d rather have the dual bars, the do look sharp

Got my step finished today, I love it! I took my tonneau cover off for a little while so this step makes it super easy to get in and out of it. I also bought some bed lights a couple of days ago, just got to get those wired up.

Its a little dirty from being used already, its been super muddy lately up in PA.

I don’t ever see much more than low to mid 11s but that’s all city. Even with 4.56s if I keep it around 65-70 on highway it gets like 16-17ish, anything over 70 an it’s drinkin

That was my experience when getting tires from ramboi. ~80mph and ~14mpg all the way.

It's the big lift and heavy treads, dude. More turbulence, more surface area, more drag, and much more rotating mass and rolling resistance.

Slam it on skinny ass 30" tires and 17" wheels, make a smooth front bumper with a bigger air dam, block off the grille, and make a full flat panel under tray with a sloped bed cap and some rear wheel fairings as well as giving the stance some rake, and I bet these trucks could manage 25mpg, easy.

I drove mine to Atlanta on Sunday. Still down here so nothing going on got about 14mpg though.

Wondering if anybody might know where to pick up some cross members for lower control arms for a lift kit? I’m already lifted but need cross members and ordering a whole kit ain’t worth it to me.

Maybe get a single cab as a second vehicle for the performance build, and do a max mpg build in the quaddie.... Pm being sent.
