I decided to raise my truck up 1" front and rear to make room for some larger tires and to put a bumper back on the back so that I can run a standard Class 4 hitch with a weight distribution hitch on the truck so that I can take the travel trailer on some longer, more comfortable road trips.

35 series tires and towing don't work together well.

Did some polishing on my lunch break today. Demonhemi gave some great advice so ingot what I would need and some pointers to do it however the paints 14 yrs old and it was never taken car of waxing or the likes. So it looks like a new paint job is in my future. 7d2829b9de2a5b1a5cd197420b5bb324.jpg

HeavyD - S*T!!!!! They are a gift and a curse all at the same time. They are a gift because you pick up a nail or a screw and they let you know, and they are a curse because every time it goes from warm to cold or cold to hot outside it changes the tire pressure and sets them off. :jawdrop:

That is beefy my friend...any rubbing?

Actually no. There is 0 rubbing. I'm getting new MOOG torsion keys installed this weekend to level the truck. I love the stance these tires and wheels give.

Wow that's good, I really like how they look. I've been digging the smaller rim/big tire look lately...that's not good for my wallet...

Almost got those deegan's too, like the stt's to but they were a little pricey around here.

I was amazed at how well a little polishing compound, wax, and elbow grease brought my 13yo paint back to life. What did you use?

Chemical guys but when I pulled the pinstripe it left marks in the paint is the main culprit. And there's rock chips and everything else but you can also see about halfway down the door where I didn't polish it

Today the wife made a tent for my truck :) . We used velcro on the tonneau and on the tarp. I'm going to attach a 2x4 to each panel at the bottom and use bungee to keep it snug.
