My ****** exhaust hanger from advanced melted. I now have no hanger on the muffler and since it’s axle dumped nothing holding the back end of the exhaust up.
My new springs didn’t come in today like they were suppose to.
My pump still has some issue so we have to take a look tomorrow in the daylight at it.
Also have new brake lines scheduled to ship on Friday

And wash before clay bar, I assume.

yeah you want to clean the truck REALLY good before claybar, then the claybar will remove all impurities in the paint and leave you with just a very clean and super smooth paint, after that you are ready for polish, then once you polish you move over to wax and sealants :buffer:

First time I used a claybar I was absolutely shocked at how much smoother the surface was. LOL

i was the same way, absolutely blew my mind, the best trick to show someone is set the detailing spray bottle on the hood first and show them that it wont slide off, and then after its done let them try and set the same bottle in the same spot, it wont stay put...

many many years ago after i tried it first on my truck i showed it to my girl at the time on her car, she had a geo metro, and she used to love to sit on the hood of her car, so i did a full claybar treatment on her hood, and the best thing ever happend, every time she tried to sit on her hood SHE would slide off :roflsquared:

she actually got mad at me cause i did her trunk after that so she could no longer set her purse or sit on the hood or trunk of the car :happy107:

another trick is grap the clear wrapper from a pack a smokes and with your fingers on the inside of wrapper swipe the fender......a good smooth feeling under the fingertips is would be what you want, but it will probably feel rough .

Got my new taillights and speakers in. Put the taillights in and soldered the reverse camera in EXACTLY how it was on the old lights (now I have a problem of my “lamp out” light coming on for a split second every time the truck goes into reverse) and then I put the speakers in and they sounded great, took a little bit of drilling but I got it all in and drove home. Got in the truck tonight to get some grub and now I’m getting a Kenwood “miswire DC error” or some ******** like that. Basically it says that one of the speakers is grounded and until I can unground it the radio won’t work. I DONT HAVE TIME FOR ALL THESE WIRING ISSUES!!

Update: Best Buy will be fixing my backup camera Monday, in the meantime it shouldn’t be too annoying. HOWEVER the problem with the DC thingy is because the mounting screws are shorting out on the body of the truck. My lock on that door hasn’t been working for a while and I thought it was just a solenoid... apparently there’s a hot wire or a short in that back door and it’s short circuiting everything on the door.
