What’s with the door handles. It’s bothering me one looks almost silver and the other is black.

The door handles at the moment are the original faded 03 handles, i bought a set of gloss black covers for them like i have on my red truck, i stuck the drivers side on sunce the pass side was against the wall of my garage, and the passenger side just never went on, I actually just got in the mail two replacement non textured handles that im gona paint just like my blue truck, also im removing the passenger side keyhole

Looking good. How do you like those tow mirrors? I like the style. From topgeautospory? Power adjust, heat and signals all work well?

Well this truck has manual mirrors, they arent bad, signals work decent, not real bright in the day but they never are on any truck, these are based on the 3rd gen tow mirrors and glAss, for this truck I picked them because they will be folded down at all times and the blind spot mirrors these have work the best in this position...

If you want a really good set of tow mirrors get the 4th gen style mirrors for the 3rd gen, i have them on my 3/4 ton and absolutely love them, they are full power on that truck and work incredibly well the entire time ive had em

My projector headlights have been acting up so I took them out and put my stockers in for the time being. My passenger side only had a loose wire on the high beam controller which I've gotten fixed. The drivers side is gonna be a little more work because the plastic trim that is supposed to mount the bulb-holding screws has broke off

I installed new grab-handles on the A-Pillars. I decided to replace them when the driver's side handle pulled off last week. DAPO (******* previous owner) just glued PVC pipe end-caps on. I also received a set of LED replacement instrument bulbs which I plan to install tomorrow.

New Handles

And the old driver's side handle.

Replaced the driver side seat cushion. Easy to do and what a difference. Did not realize how flat the original cushion had become!

I took a stab at replacing the instrument cluster lights with LEDs. I only had an hour and spent most it... Cleaning. DAPO was a smoker and the tarry residue left behind is disgusting. This is just from the HVAC control unit and knobs. My hands still stink, so next time I will wear gloves. The new LED bulbs are more blue but look great.

Here are the old incandescent bulbs. They look toasty and we're very dim.

And the new LEDs. Nice score on ebay for $6.

Get it back running like the old days, and some improved tuning it will all be worth it
