Not so much something I did to my truck but an accessory for it. :) Bought a new Doolittle 16x77 dual axle trailer a couple weeks ago.

Before:

It was Silver, and not really what I wanted. So into our shop it went. Just an FYI, I hate prep work.

And the new color going on. I had a gallon of Hills Green mixed up special for it to match my 2500. My wife and I switched off spraying. She wanted in on the fun also.

Once it was painted, I put the lights and back in the right way. Solder and heat shrink. They were butt spliced in.

And the final product, almost. I didn't have time to paint the ramps before we had to use it this past weekend.

And finally a couple shots of a waterfall we rode past because I'm artsy-fartsy.

How was the process of doing the wheels? How long and how many cans.

3 Cans, let the can sit in hot/warm water for 20 min so that the spray is more even. Just as easy as everyone says it is. Need to redo the running boards, going to actually take them off and paint them.

Washed it on Saturday and my buddy noticed it today at work, we always park net to each other because we trust no one with their doors. He has a 2018 ecoboost Mustang. I was like,......"It looks nice and bright now, huh?!?" He laughed. lol
I was dying to wash it by hand after the ****** winter months.

Nah, she was trying not to breathe in the paint fumes. I kinda like them :)

Threw in my gauge cluster I’ve had since before Christmas lol. Still not calibrated but got impatient and installed it. I’ll fix the mileage once things settle down and I’m not driving so much. But it sure is a lot better than the plain one. Side not gauge is from a 13’ mines a 14’ 2500 and the toms ststem does work haha

Also replaced my POS Oreallys front sway bar links with Suspension Maxx links, SPX-SMX-1300L
They're abut 1" and change longer than stock, i gained 1/2" uptravel with them with respect to the stock lenght
the bushings i have in the short link (stock lenght) are the factory ones with about 69k miles, the ones that came with Oreally's links below literally lasted 20 min after giving the truck some speed in the dirt. Don't buy those POS "Master Pro" sway bar links, they're BS.

Then went out to my local testing place to check everything out

USB ports in the rear? Do you have a thread on that or pics?

Don’t read too much into it. I bought a 4 plug outlet on a cord that I ran from the 12 volt inside the armrest. Just hid the cord for now, so the kids can use their phones.

I do plan on installing real ports eventually and when I do, I’ll post. This was just a short term solution. I have plans....

Got some universal mud flaps slapped on, $20 for the set in Amazon

Sweetness...so did your flaps come with mounting hardware? If not, how'd you mount 'em? I'm ordering a set of Rally Armor universal fit flaps (the Basic Plus model) and they're sold sans hardware, so I'll probably use the fender flare mounting points on my Reb unless suggested otherwise by distinguished members of this forum like yourself.
