Diesel?
Gas?
Dually?
Lastly, do you want 17's, 18's or 20's?
Take a look here:
2006 Ram 2500 Wheel Specs
It also depends on what look you are after. Do you want the wheels flush with the fender, sticking out a bit or how they sit stock? Do you want a wider tire?
You can run anything from an 8" wide wheel to a 14" wide wheel and the offset required will shift as the wheel changes width.
For reference I am running a 20x9 w/0 offset and a 305/55/20 on a reverse level.
I have a 2" front level and 35/12.5/20 tires with the same wheels but they rubbed slightly on the back side of the fender well. Longer control arms would have corrected that, but I chose to go back to a 33" tire. The rear you won't have any clearance issues with.
Wheel specs:
2003-2008 Dodge Ram 2500 & 3500 - 2wd & 4wd
Factory 17x7.5 Wheel Offset = +45 mm - Back Space = 6.00" Inches
Factory 17x8.0 Wheel Offset = +43 mm - Back Space = 6.20" Inches
Lug Pattern = 8 x 165
25mm actually but they would still be well within the wheel well
I have 20x10 with -24 offset and 35s, they sit just a hair outside of my flares
Here some more to give ya ideas
White truck 20x10 -12 offset 33s stock no rub
Black truck 20x10 -19 offset 34s rubbed bad b4 2.5 level
so yours are negative 24mm? what make wheels are they?
Got anymore pics? side pics?
thanks
