WIN Module

I know I need a new WIN Module in my 2012 1500. What I need to known is if I buy just the module with remote start will it work without that rest of the remote start set up? I want to get remote start eventually but need my truck back up and running asap and can't afford a full remote start kit yet.

You need the antenna, hood latch, and wiring for the hood latch for the remote start to work (and of course the correct fob and WIN module). When the dealer programs the new WIN module and fob, just tell them to add the XBM remote start sales code. Then, whenever you get the antenna and hood latch, it’ll work.
