You should drop in , lot of nice stuff on display ! Just bring the wife maybe she can keep you from spending $ to much $ LOL !

all I've ever had done there was a front end alignment after I installed my Bilsteins @2.8 myself . Seems to be a good shop . I plan on installing my 6" lift myself, but if they would increase there install Warranty to 12 mo as opposed to 3 , I'll have them do the install ..

Might have to, be up that way Wednsday :naughty:

in the Jeep world, RPM Off Road is a pretty well known and well respected shop.

BUT $1000 + for an install.... yeah, I'd be doing it myself too. For $400.00 how could I say no?

No to find a day to drop it off for the whole day.....

How far up in NJ are you, maybe I'll pop in and take photos lol. All I know is in South Jersey the shops want $85 per hour and more if your supplying the parts.

If it's between the ProComps and the XD Addicts, the price is $269 difference for what looks like almost the same wheel. Personally, I like the procomps better between the 2. Same for Fuel Mavericks, similar wheel for a whole lot more than the procomps. Not a fan of the Anthem wheels, but that just me.

From the choices above, I'd go with the procomps. Some tires are almost $100.00 difference between 17's and 18's, too.

yeah i hear what your saying and yes, the tires im going to get have a 100 difference between 18 and 17 so i would rather have the 17s. so the mavericks are out

i might be going procomps i just dont know if i like them more then the addicts or anthems.

I wish the procomps had a more - offset since im looking for a wider stance. Ill be adding 2" spacers but tht extra .25 is a lot

I hear what your saying about not liking the anthems, they are a little flashy.

Im also open to some similar suggestions guys 17x9 the more - offset the better

I say fuel or xd.. Pro comps are junk.. My fuels still look new after almost 4 years and I run mine thru the winter in PA.

My top 2 favorite wheels (If I every decide to replace my gloss black blackout edition wheels) are:

(1) Fuel Anza - 17x8.5 - 4.5" backspacing - $920
(2) Method Fat 5 - 17x8.5 - 4.75" backspacing - $750

Another option similar to the ProComps are Method Streetloc 17x8.5 - 4.75" backspacing - $780.

The problem with all those options is price. I'd love to run out and buy those Anza's, but **** me, the price sux!! These are by no mean upper end high priced, but still outta my reach for a good while... at least with me getting my 4" lift, bilsteins, 295/60r20 tires, and bestop powerboard nx this past year and a half I've had my truck . I'll see where I'm at in 2017. Gotta keep a low profile on my spending to keep the CFO happy.

I'll be keeping my rims, CFO wasn't exactly thrilled with that purchase either although I worked out a SMOK'N deal. Personally, I like the factory look and Ram was wise to offer rims that can handle plus size tires.............these Limited 6-spokes are the best IMHO!

And speaking of keeping the CFO happy, I just might have to get the lift installed sooner than later............it's like pouring salt in a wound everytime she passes the stack of boxes in the garage, especially since she can't park in there right now. The way I see it, I should do whatever I can to get those boxes out of her way :naughty:

i do love those fuel anza wheels but i'm not sure if they will go with the over look my truck will have. I need to see those methods on a ram, idk how i feel about them yet

4" Mopar w/Bilstein's @ 1.4 on 35x12.5R17 KO2s, 17x9 Moto Metal 970. Sits at 5" of lift. Mine is ~1" shorter than a 6" on 35s. Picked up the lift back in March for $1,895

I barely got anywhere today from not having some tools to waking up late.
Worst of all, i cant get the knuckle off. I guess it's rusted on the bottom ball joint? I got the top off but i keep hitting the bottom with a hammer and it doesnt nudge. Either side
I hit it so much that the stock knuckle is all dented up and my hands are numb lol.

Ill give it another go tomorrow

Use heat ! Heat gun !
Soak it with wd-40 or simular and heat it too hot to hold , then use the hammer .

Heat it then beat it !

Good luck !

Lots of pictures!

Keep us posted .

i was thinking of trying that, just didnt want to melt the rubber boot.

I have a few options, get a puller knuckle/ball joint puller. Beat it with a hammer till my arm breaks off. Heat gun/wd40 combo. orrrr skip that step take off the lower control arm and take the whole thing to a shop and pay them..last resort right there
