So in my previous thread here I installed the lobeams from this same seller on ebay. Just did fogs and man i am happy. 5min install. Vinyl i had on them left no residue when i peeled it off [unlike yellow vinyl i first had]

So the heat sinks are pretty much exposed down there but I'm hoping they hold up well to occasional splashing.

Pics 1-light off 2-fogs only 3-fogs lows and bar.

I feel like the spread on the fogs alone is equal to the lo beams. Seeing as they are virtually same bulbs w slightly different housings.

You should be fine with water getting on them. I have Opt7 FluxBeam-X led's in my low beams but in my fogs I went with an Amazon led from MicTuning and they are exposed under my bumper. I recently drive through a hurricane down pour for 30+ minutes and hit massive puddle. I was super worried about them but they came out perfect. So I wouldn't worry too much.

Turns out the MicTuning led's are identical to the Opt7 led's and when I asked them about it, they told me their led's are made by the same manufacturer at the same warehouse as the Opt7s, so they are identical for $80 less. They match color perfectly and look almost identical.

Update: i am super pleased w the low beams but had issues w driver side fog flickering. Got another bulb from seller still flickered. Added canbus harnesses. Now driver side stopped working all together. Going to retuen and get 7" light bars.

I've notice a small amount of flicker on my LED fogs too, which went unnoticed until I took some beam pattern shots against a wall.
