Not to be rude but if you payed 40k for an base express - you got shafted. They go for under 30k. I think Dennis Dillion had some for 27k. However I think even the base radio still has Bluetooth. And no one uses CDs anymore. I will be surprised if its even an option in the body style.

Some of us older folk still use CDs. I have a CD player in my 16.

Tell your grandkids to buy you an iPod :roflsquared: j/k j/k. With Apple Music - I literally have every CD ever made at the tip of my hands.

Realistically there are people still out there, far and few between that still use them. That is why they offer it as an option. It just doesn't make sense for them to include one still. Pretty much all new cars have gone this route. In fact I think most don't even offer an option, so Ram buyers may be lucky it is even an option still.

Not to worry, I didn't pay any where close to 40K but the sticker was damn close. I guess i was surprised that in todays world of Blue tooth and wireless everything, any vehicle even a base would lack Blue tooth.

After having my MC Laramie 2500 for a few months I have some gripes. Ungodly squeak coming from the rear seat area I cannot find, loses connection with my iPod occasionally and I have to unhook and reconnect it, backup camera goes whacky when I wash the truck, heater motor makes abnormal loud noise. Quality is a little lower than I expected.

- No powerfolding tow mirrors for 2015 1500
- subwoofer takes up too much room in the under-seat storage
- The lag between 1st and 2nd i feel around town

But hey i think the rest is great :) Of course always room for marginal improvements here and there. Like the bumper step the GMs have... Or unlocking GPS keyboard when someone is using passenger seat like in a caddy!

Third gen, hate the *************, always breaking, freeze your wife's toes off, blend box in the dash.

That is all though.

doesn't freeze my wife's toes ,she's never even rode in your truck

I meant that figuratively. Its the largest complaint of 3rd gen owners. Well, the blend box failing anyway. Suppose there's a few husbands with soft feet out there crying about it too.

I hate the Uconnect with a passion. No OFF button for the radio is a "**** me off big time" deal. Stupid to have to hit mute every single time I start the engine and the stereo works it's damnedest to find something to play after about a minute into your driving. Rather annoying when someone gets in your ride and all the sudden out of the blue some stupid song just starts blaring out.
Also, no true mute button for using bluetooth audio or audio from usb. It's a PAUSE not MUTE used for everything except Sirius and Am/Fm. Another "**** me off"

Didn't like the tailgate not having assist. Does now though so mute point....

Not a fan of the plastic cover over the bed railings

I don't understand why there isn't a lock on one of the glove boxes.

Took some time to get use to the uber thick steering wheel....

Other than that....
I love the Longhorn edition interior. Love all the storage. Love the fold out floor in the rear. Love the power and the ride is nice and comfortable.....

You can add the lock to the glove box...

- that I didn't get the Keyless go option
- After a cold start my 6.4 ticks more than a 6.7 CTD with a cylinder missing
- why do I need 10 dang cup holders in the front alone?

Have you checked for broken manifold bolts ?

Or might try a different oil if the bolts are all good.
