Yeah if they really wanted to push the technology they shouldn't have raised the cost of the option. For me there is a sensation that you feel/notice when it stops - but it is probably one of those things you'd eventually just quit noticing.
The big wrinkle in my plans is this now... Was ready to pull the trigger but... I can't park the damn thing in my exisitng work parking spot! It's in a basement garage spot of an old ass building. I tried to navigate over the holiday when it was nice & empty and that was just tooooo damn frustrating and stressful. No way I'd sign up for that routine as a daily ordeal. Sigh. That sucked.
Now I have to consider if I keep my existing ride & buy-out the lease - use that for 'work days' when I go in; Several reasons to consider keeping the nice & comfortable 6 cylinder for daily driver & other times you don't need a truck. Keep the truck miles low that way too.
Just when my indecisive ass was about to commit and place the magic order...
