Other truck's feature you wish RAM had?

Agree with step tailgate - young bucks poke fun at it but my 52 year old knees would love one.

Haha I'm one of this young bucks. I was just telling my wife how gimecky it seemed. But everyone I know that has it says they're shocked at how much easier it makes work. Anyone remember the Chevy commercial with Howie Long laughing at the step when it first came out?

For me, I wish the 'tap to signal' feature would change to 6 flashes when in tow-haul mode like chevy does instead of just 3...makes it much safer for lane changes when towing.

Cruise control that I didn't have to turn on every time I restart the truck. Thats one thing that GM does do right. One you turn it on, it stays on forever. Ditto on the exhaust manifold bolts, its been said that all manufacturers have broken ex. manifold bolt problems but honestly its extremely rare on GM's LS engines to the point of where I've never seen it happen in person. Its almost guaranteed to happen with a Hemi unfortunately.

I did the same thing. Makes it sooo much easier getting in and out of the bed. Definitely worth the time and money. No drilling, either, which is always nice.

I also wish they had a front camera, so I put my own in. I put the camera in the tow hook opening, and have the screen on the floor at the bottom of the center console. When I get around to it, I'll post some pics in the DIY section.

Another one for me since mine is a 2017 Longhorn is apple CarPlay. Man I wish mine had this.

The Infotainment website has a retrofit 8.4 that you can add with the apple CarPlay and android play abilities

I looked at the amp step, but every one i saw mounted it sat pretty low tucked away. Seems to tuck pretty tight in the video, but i think the bracket is different for the hemi trucks with the exhaust cut outs for the duals. That's a v6 i think. Could be wrong and they may have re engineered them recently. Anybody have a new one on a hemi truck. Also noticed the 5th gen has a mopar step that looks like the amp and tucks up pretty nicely.

I got the Bestop brand. This is on my truck with a hemi and dual exhaust.

I would like the dash to show what gear its in as it shifts. Also different driving modes like sport, econ, etc like some fords have so we wouldn't need a pedal commander.

I love having the front camera for getting in tight to a post or whatever in a parking spot. My ram is older so I used a lockpick and it displays on my radio screen automatically at 7 mph. I put a tiny camera light in the grill crosshairs.
