Soft drop tail gate like GM. Traded in a Silverado for a ram in the first day I drop the tailgate.

Are those fordsF numbers ? I believe they over stated the Ecoboost numbers when they first came out. Caused quite an uproar with ford owners.
Well my ecodiesel is rated for 28hwy with an 8 speed and heavier truck. It wouldn't surprise me to see the F150 rated slightly higher with a 10 speed and lighter body.

I have seen the ratings, just haven't met anyone that has achieved those numbers.

That’s a good one..... I do wish the back window was also a little bigger maybe not roll all of it down big but atleast bigger.

Another one for me since mine is a 2017 Longhorn is apple CarPlay. Man I wish mine had this.

You know, that car play is nice considering you can sling Apple Maps to the truck for navigation instead of using what I think is the redundant NAV that comes with the truck, but I kinda found it to be a pain in the backside because it connects too much of your phone to the radio. I got tired real quick of every time I got a text message that it would stop my music, activate Siri to read it to you, and then would expect you to voice your text in reply. Yeah I know, it’s safer but I don’t need my other occupants being privy’d to my texts...lol.

I still use the usb cord to play my music and all that stuff but I went into my phone and disabled car play. Now, it just puts the radio in iPod mode and still plays the same but it won’t do all the other cool stuff it did before which I can live with.

I think he means like the Ford ones that open and close based on truck being locked or unlocked, or it’s based on the truck running (don’t remember exactly)

That’s kinda what I thought he meant but I don’t think I would want my mirrors to fold in all the time, every time I park. I mean, I guess it don’t matter to me since I have the lifetime warranty but, if I didn’t, I wouldn’t want to replace a mirror down the road with a worn out motor from it folding in all the time.

That’s why they have the switch there so that you can fold them in when you absolutely need to.

The 19’s have that I think but DeeZee makes a neat little damper shock you can put on the older ones to accomplish the same thing.

I would like the dash to show what gear its in as it shifts.
I don’t know about the 6-speed’s, but the 8-speed’s will show you that if you press the + or - button on the steering wheel.

Also different driving modes like sport, econ, etc like some fords have so we wouldn't need a pedal commander.
Yeah, that would be neat...

Fords tailgate step, massaging seats and powerfold tow mirrors. Paddle shifters if they're going to stick with the dial and an auto wiper control notch on the stalk instead of having to go many menus deep to turn it on/off

Yeah, I’ve never ever been told why they didn’t integrate the power-fold tow mirrors on the so-equipped 1500’s like they did for the HD’s. That still doesn’t make sense.

The auto-wipers- yeah, that would be nice I guess but since I’ve come to not really care for the automatic wipers on my truck, I just leave the damned setting off.

For me, I wish the 'tap to signal' feature would change to 6 flashes when in tow-haul mode like chevy does instead of just 3...makes it much safer for lane changes when towing.

That would be good but I’ve never gotten myself accustomed to using that feature in the first place. I’m a truck driver by trade so I drive my pickup the same way I drive my big truck which is, my turn signal blinks about three times before I execute my lane change, and it doesn’t get turned off until all of my vehicle gets back in the original lane.

Thanks. I know about that but would like to have it automatically.

Well yeah, I guess I could see how important that could be but out of all the automatics I’ve driven, I’ve never seen one show you that information by default, even if they could show you that information at all.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for what I mentioned in a previous post in this thread, a girl in a bikini on my hood......

Pretty sure Mopar is making their own for all 4th gens this year. It comes factory on a special edition Longhorn for 2018 if I'm not mistaken.

I don't really understand the want for shift paddles. I've had them on several vehicles and never used them. The shift times for the ZF is 200ms. I don't think I can do better on my own.

Anyway.

There isn't much I can think of, that hasn't already been added on the 2019 Rams. I'd like an integrated step bumper -- like the '19 Rams, or GMs. Ford's integrated tailgate step is pretty clever, but could be clumsy every time you need it?

Power up/down tailgate would be great -- or would even be better if it would open/close with a kick.

The Pentastar is a great engine. I can't imagine how fun it would be if there would be 2 turbos added. But, it would still sound like a V6.

No thanks on the turbos. Turbo lag sucks. Ford minimized it by running their turbos at 200000, (yes that's two hundred thousand ) Rpm. My son in laws father works at a Ford dealerships sevice dept and says they replace a lot of them. Part cot is $1200+ each then add labor. I'll take my NA hemi any day over that.

Yeah I don’t either. I’m just glad I have shift buttons for whenever I need to manually run through the gears. Paddle shifters are really only for sport running anyways which is why they probably come on the cars and not the trucks.

That would be neat I spose but this is a truck, not an SUV.

Limited slip diff should be standard on all trucks, also wish they had a dummy light for the rear sliding glass, i cant remember how many times i have left it open.
