I will make this short and sweet. In August 2016 I bought new the above mentioned RAM. I loved everything about it except the height. I wanted it lowered. I joined the Forum to get advice on lowering. Comments were helpful, but what really made this all possible was the input supplied by Matt of Moe's Performance. Without soliciting business, Matt spoke with me on the phone a number of times at length discussing what would be the way to go for what I wanted to accomplish. Here's what happened...Belltech 964SP 2/4 lowering kit w/ SP Shocks, Illicit brackets (no cut),Spohn adjustable panhard bar, Hellwig swaybar & Airlift airbags to keep from bottoming out. As I previously stated, Matt did not solicit a purchase. My feeling is that if the man was willing to take the time to enlighten me, I was going to give him my business. Everything has gone as expected and I have rec'd numerous comments on how the truck looked, especially the rear wheels being centered in the well. I guess what I am trying to say is that I wanted to thank Matt on the Forum for helping me with the process of getting my truck set up the right way. You can not go wrong by doing business with Moe's

Unfortunately I'm not a computer person, let alone one who knows how take and download images. That's what happens when you are Neanderthal. Maybe I can impose on Matt to upload my pictures on the Forum.

John, how are the airlift bags working out? Mine should be here Monday. Any issues bottoming out, ride ok? I saw a youtube video where a guy ran the air valve at one of the license plate holes, looked pretty cool and hidden, how did you run yours?

Don't tie both bags together on one line, run them as individual bags. What happens if you tie them together, and you go into a corner with a load in the box, the outside bag will start to squash down, the air out of it then transfers over to the other bag and tries to lift the inside of the truck. My fittings are at both license plate bolts,i've also seen them inside the gas tank door .

Abouttobeglue,
I should start by saying my truck is a toy and not used for hauling anything heavy, the heaviest being grocery bags. I have an old '95 dodge for that kind of work. I had the airbags installed because the 2/4 drop left very little room for the bump stops to not hit the axle even over the slightest bump. That being said I have driven over all the bumps I could find and I have not bottomed out. I also used the Tee (just my preference) to have one air valve which is attached to my hitch (truck came with a hitch and sliding window. I would have never ordered either one)and cannot be seen but is very accessible. I use 8lbs. which is more than adequate for my usage. Again Matt at Moe's figured that one out for me. If your truck is lowered the Airlift for the Durango is the way to go. If stock height than get the RAM airlift kit. I've only driven my truck for the last couple days and I am totally satisfied.
Hope that helps. I've waited a while to have this done since this is my daily driver and I wanted it done right all at the same time.

Abouttobeglue,
Forgot to mention that the ride is stiffer, but that is to be expected with the 2/4 drop and the airbags. Still a nice ride. I think you will be pleased.
