I have never paid for the service but have had plenty of free trials over the ears with purchases of new cars. The phone calls were annoying. Three free months is better than no free months, I guess. I doubt I'll ever use it lol.

i listen to it to remind me of songs i want to buy and add to my phone. lol. they get into binges of the same songs, I swear. One week I heard Baker Street so many times I could have screamed. then all of a sudden saturday they play a one hit wonder that i haven't heard since the 80s....and all of a sudden i've heard it 4 times in 2 days. Whoever programs their music is weak. lol (i was a music director in multiple markets/formats for 12 years of my radio career so I feel i can fairly critique.) my subscrip will run out in October. They will pretty much have to give it to me for free to extend it. I"m on Sirius XM. I don't know if what you guys get in the US is more expansive, but I wish all those channels you can now stream were available as well on my car. I would love a few really good jazz based channels.

The worst part about Sirius is having to phone and argue every time your subscription renews in order to not get screwed royally on the price. The amount they actually want to charge is pretty ridiculous, considering if you threaten to cancel they’ll start throwing multiple offers at you.

agree with that. my daughter renewed but she waded through 3 rounds of offers on email, phone, etc before renewing for 6 months i think. honestly, the only channel i listen to speak of is yacht rock (don't judge! i'm 57! lol) Its the bane of having been around a lot of music and genres for 31 years in my career, never mind years before that. So i've heard all the popular stuff a million times. i literally stopped listening to music for 5 yrs...long story. and i'm just building up a super list on my phone the past year or so. 580 songs seems like a lot but....i had 4000 plus cds at one point. lol. So yeah, at this point unless i have better selection of channels once i'm done the year trial, i'd be paying for yacht rock only pretty much.

I have 2 lifetime accounts (Haven't paid for these for 10 years), and have another for this truck (I pay for this). I drive about 23k a year, so a lot of time is spent listening to SXM.

Since I had an active subscription at the time, no moneys/free sub for me...

After my free trial I chose not to renew. As it’s the same few songs over and over and over again. I can listen to free radio. Also, I like the relevant info I get in local stations. Weather, accidents or if the nuke plant ever goes I’ll know early enough maybe lol.

The phone calls got Sooooooo annoying. Despite me telling them half a dozen times to stop calling me they kept calling. Finally threatened legal action in a written statement to them. No more calls from that company. Will never use the service

And like mentioned already. The price they want to Charge is laughable. I didn’t care for 98% of the stations anyways [emoji12]

How about a false advertisement suit? They claim to be commercial free and all they do is promote their other channels and offers, plus plug concerts, festivals, tours, and up coming record releases.

If I ever figure out the 100 other ways to listen to only the music I like for free via the internets, I will cancel it in my truck. I have a lifetime subscription for a receiver at work. I recently transferred to a different receiver and the Asian girl tried to tell me it would cost $100.00 . After a lot of arguing it was free.
