Sometimes you just got to keep driving till a problem gets bad enough so the culprit can be definitively identified.Even if it means the total breakdown of the vehicle, before you know what is causing the issue

Couple of things here. Having done warranty work on new cars for years and over 3 major manufacturers. Most people are on sensor over load when looking at a new car. For this reason there are things they might not notice till they become more acquainted with a vehicle. Some people have exceptional hearing . Once they tune into a sound. It is perceived as a problem. This seems to be human nature. We dont like what we dont understand. Intermediate sounds are the biggest pita to deal with. As a general rule. If a sound is a problem it will get much louder over time. Bottom line trucks make way more noise then cars. They always have and probably will. If you dont want to hear them ,,,,,
Turn up your radio.

This is exactly what I am talking about!!!! Thank you for replying.

2012 Ram 1500 owner. Every truck has it's own "feel" and sound. Vibration, eh nope. If I get a new noise or vibration it's time to see what's going wrong. I will say though, I have wind noise coming from passenger side, just something to put up with. Other than that no noise or vibration.

This is why I do not accept most vibrations and noises as "normal".
I always try to fix the cause of the vibration/noise before it breaks something.
Next to lack of lube' a resonant vibration is one of the fastest ways to wear out a bearing.

The dealership has finally replaced my front differential and driveshafts due to a "normal" vibration.
My 2015 was vibrating the front end and wearing tires out of balance.
Also chewed thru 3 wheel bearing hubs on the drivers side before 80k.
First three trips thru the dealership they all tried to tell me that my loose, jiggly cv shafts were perfectly normal. Until the vibrations started to eat away at the output shaft bearings in the differential.
Opened a case with Ram Cares and magically the tech "Saw something the last 3 guys missed"

A couple months later and now I have a pad slapping a warped rotor. Plenty of pad left and its still drivable but they are getting replaced as soon as I get the cash together.

I see a lot of posts about vibrations and noises related to people’s 2019 Ram trucks. In my opinion every truck and every Ram truck is going to have vibrations and noises. It’s part of having a small tank sized truck with a thousand thousand moving parts. It doesn’t mean something is wrong or needs to be addressed, it’s just part of it. The only reason for posting this so hopefully people will relax, not get so stressed, and enjoy their trucks. I drive a lot of Fleet vehicles, big and small. They all have their peculiarities and all take some getting use to. Enjoy your trucks and don’t worry so much about a little vibration or a little noise here and there. It’s all good!
my 2012 bighorn has never had a rattle ,vibration -very quiet in the cabin even over rough terrain. Actually after 7yrs I expected it. If you are experiencing that-narrow it down.

My Challenger had a 2 piston calipers and one piston stuck and wore the rotor uneven and that car shimmied bad.The pad and caliper and rotor repair on the right front and the rear inboard pad wore down to the metal backing(not at the same time as the front) .Last and only brake job that car ever needed. But intermittent problems can be a bear to diagnose, locate and repair no doubt

I still have that whistle at highway speed & cant find it. I changed the antennae, moved the hood a bit & it still whistles. Bugs the crap out of me but my bride just turns the radio up.
Had wind noise in a car once somewhere.I finally found the air leakage by sliding a dollar bill between the door weatherstripping and the body and found some spots where there was no resistance to my bill sliding and replaced the weatherstrip.Problem solved, but no water was getting in.Just air.Sounded kind of like a window was partly lowered.

When the back's loaded up, it rides pretty smooth and quiet. With an empty bed, I feel it ;)

Are Cadillac’s really quiet?
I had an old Cadillac and it never drove as smooth as my Ram-maybe it did when it was new and it actually used more gas but that was the 80s!-my 7yr old truck"NEW" to me is the best ride I have ever had.-loaded or empty.

When I say my 7yr old truck is NEW its because my old Ram was 1984 -great truck -still ran but rotted out and would not pass a safety certification-emotional day when I let her go-so many memories!!!DSC00560.JPG

Great response. I had 2 Caddy’s but I would keep my truck over either one of them. RAM. TRUCK OF THE YEAR!!

Try doing a brake seating procedure, particularly the one required by Power Stop. Rotors do not warp on normally driven cars and trucks, however pads can get overheated and leave a micro amount of pad meat embedded on the rotor which will cause a "warped" rotor feel. If caught earlier a pad seating procedure can clean the material off the rotor and remove the pulse / warp feel. However, if it goes on too long the pad and rotor will wear to a point in which it cannot be cleared by a seating process. I have personally used this on my trucks & cars and it has worked every time since I learned of it.

Take a look at these 2 articles.

love your response. Thanks
I did see an article on the internet that rated the 10 most unreliable brands and Cadillac was the worst. And you know you can't argue with that because EVERYTHING on the internet is true...
