We drove out to West Virginia with the family and ate lunch in the bed on the banks of the Shenandoah River. Got my first off roading experience while parking in the grass alongside the road, lol.

Other than that, very little truck driving except for the occasional grocery store/Home Depot run. On the plus side, I’m getting close to one month/gallon on gas!

Nice off roading experience, lol. This dirt road was the closest we've done.

That is crazy. There are parts of me that think this is more of a power grab than anything Idk freaky times no matter how you look at it. Either it is that bad and we are gonna have to change the way we do things or the government is over reaching and we really gotta change the way we do things.

Took another short road trip to mitigate the better half's cabin fever issues...

This time we headed East, then SouthEast over El Capitan pass and down into the Copper Corridor. Lots of rare metal and mineral mining is that area. Had a good time, the truck ran great, we had some lunch at the top of the pass and then headed down the other side of the pass into some old mining towns.

Haven't driven mine in 3 days now. Today will be 4 days.
I did start it on Saturday morning to move it over so I could get the beast out of the garage for a cruise. What a blast.

At least I'm saving a lot of money on gas. (I use Mobil, so the prices are still high. Only the best for my babies. lol) Saving on mileage as well, even though I am only 7.5 miles one way to work.

I took the wife to work lol I did however fill up on empty for less than 6 bucks. Had a dollar off at kroger paid 22 cents a gallon

Took my boys to my property in West Virginia last week. Had to get away from civilization for awhile. Cleared some trees from the access road, rode the quad, built a fire, did some shooting. Really enjoyed the day. Boys are teenagers and sometimes it’s hard to get their attention. Best day I’ve had in a long time.

My truck still sitting in the driveway and has only been out about every other week for a grocery store/drug store trip. In Michigan you get caught out driving around for no good reason it is a $1,000 fine and potential jail time.
