So...after trying a few more settings and waiting on the reset for the BCM, my single zone came back, but stuck at the LO setting...manually I can still control it so far. So I'll work with that. My temp resolved itself after about 3 starts, and so that part has returned...no longer 185 degrees outside. I was also able to get rid of the POWER WAGON and replace it with RAM 1500 after realizing you have to adjust Cnfig 1 & 2. I think I'm done with Alpha for awhile....but happy to be in a place where everything seems normal...and no codes have popped. Thanks to everyone who replied.

What's the best way to mount the humidity sensor? I don't want the sensor just stuck up there looking terrible. I'm guessing the factory cover won't attach unless the windshield glass is swapped (don't really want to do that either). I saw where someone mounted it inside the mirror cover but the instructions I got with the harness say the glass is preferred. Just want to make this look at factory as possible...I hate things that looked hacked up or like they don't belong.

I thought the same thing when I did mine and even bought the factory cover to try to figure it out. I ended up sliding it between the headliner and the window so it could actually do it's job. If I could see it it would bug me but I can't and no one sitting in the passenger seat has ever noticed it. Honestly I have forgotten it's there until it gets mentioned. In any case I understand what your saying because I'm extremely picky about stuff like that but I decided to mount it in a way that it cold actually sense the windshield humidity and just deal with it not being mounted correctly and it's been fine. d383384862cf1c8ce942d7d1356f4519.jpg

I did the same as @Ricks Ram and just wedged it halfway between the headliner and windshield.
I'm pretty sure it's actually a few point sensor, it measures humidity and the windshield surface temp.
If you ever have to get the windshield replaced, that would be the time to upgrade.

Hey guys got my MTC to ATC conversion done this weekend. I BIG thank you to @Mpgrimm2 of course for making the harness for me and providing such great support. Using alpha to find the right setting took a while and I had to do it a couple time but now I am good to go! Using voice commands to set the temperature is pretty slick I must say!

I actually mounted mine with two-sided tape behind the big mirror cover. I figured it's mounted to a bracket and covered by a cover in the stock configuration, so what's the difference.

Just finished the ATC conversion on my 2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Thanks to @Mpgrimm2 / M2 Mods for all the help with it. Solved all of my issues that came with upgrading to the 8.4 UAS. Found that either disconnecting the negative battery terminals or letting the truck sit over night in between steps using Alfa ODB made all the difference when first enabling Dual Zone ATC, then converting to Single Zone ATC.

I also just finished a ATC conversion on my 16 Ram 2500 6.4L Tradesmen! Love the build quality of the harness made by @mpgrimm2 ! It fit absolutely perfect with excellent crimps, heat shrink and quality connectors. Also chatted with M2 and he got me all squared away on a couple questions I had.

And what hardware do you need to connect to the HVAC module to bypass the security system and see errors? What should I buy? I have 4gen 2018,

Im researching into setting my 14 cc with 8.4 an to single ZONE ATC. I have alphaobd, and pm sent to inquire about harnesses. I hope not asking redundant questions as i am also reading all the posts as well to understand and identify parts. Bill

For a 1500 you'll need the temperature sensor 55111178AC and the windshield humidity sensor 55111389AF, you can order them from AllMoparParts.com
It sounds like you're already in contact with M² Mods about the wiring harnesses you'll need.
Once everything is installed enable the Dual Auto Temperature Control first, makes sure it shows up on the radio, then switch it to Single.
There is a completely optional Sun Senor 68230114AB which the dual zone trucks have.

Hey. I wrote to them [email protected]
but there is no answer. Tell me how can I buy this device? Thank you.
And another question.
Is this device suitable for me to diagnose my ram 2018 and make changes?

Go to this page on the website to order the security bypass ...
https://www.kaodtech.com/product-page/security-module-bypass

& yes, that's the OBDLink MX BT adapter you need ... as well as the AlfaOBD app for android.

Thanks! @M² Mods M2Mods go above and beyond to help us fellow RAM owners do these mods. Can't thank them enough for the help in getting me set up. Bill
