I’m from the Northeast. Long Island, NY to be more specific. We got around 8-12” of heavy wet snow which turned to rain then back to snow overnight which yielded an icy mess. Got home last night from work by about 9pm. Tried to beat the storm but couldn’t get all our deliveries done in time so I got the opportunity to do some 4WDing. Roads were totally snow covered then, heavy winds, some white out conditions. Had truck in 4WD LOCK, with my General ATx’s. No issues. I know guys turn their Pedal Commanders down in this weather, I just completely just power mine off. No issues, truck was a beast.

But I know a lot of guys got a lot more than we got. Heard areas of PA got 40” and Binghamton NY got about 30”.

Hope everybody is safe.

I'm due west of you along the Delaware river by Easton Pa. Took the dog for a walk and there's about 12-18 but it's hard to be precise with the wind pushing it around. Less than forecasted but we had about 3 hours of icy mix that knocked it down from the 24" they had projected.

Northern Ontario Canada, got about 2 feet at the moment, River has frozen over, zero payment roads, gravel and ice roads only. My truck has zero issues in the snow running both intermittently 37” Amp Mud Attacks and 35” Haida Mud Champs (which surprisingly are pretty good for a cheaper tire). All off road driving with 4 times a year payment driving.

I'm in MA and we got 10" of snow out here.
My shop is closed for the day. Use a vacation day to get paid or not, up to us. I'll use one. lol
I'll see how good she does tomorrow, but I'm sure she'll do very well. Even though the roads and parking lots will be cleaned off. I've driven her in the snow and deep snow more than a couple of times and she handles it very well.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do for a daily driver when I need to replace this bad boy. Not sure I want truck again. It's GREAT in the snow, but that's the only reason I buy a truck. Just for the 4X4. I'm looking at either an AWD suv or an Audi RS3. Either way, I'm going to have buy a set of dedicated snow tires as both vehicles come with performance tires. :doh2: :banghead: :insane:
Stay safe out there!!

We've got a ton of snowflakes around here in the inland northwest but the biggest danger most of them create is when they go shopping & refuse to wear a mask.

The streets do get icy, my wife's got snow tires on her Mustang but it's got an open diff so it stops with 4 wheels but goes with only 1 wheel. The tires on my Ram are M+S rated but I guess that's the lightest duty snow rating possible, no mountain/snowflake symbol and they definitely slide around on the fully iced-over intersections.

I'm north of OP quite a bit. About 2 Hours directly south of Montreal, CA. 30 inches measured on the deck just now. Probably colder here than the city though, resulting in a drier snow.

all went north of us. :(
We mostly got rain but this morning it is 29* and we have a few flurries.
I was hoping for some real snow so I could get my 4 wheeler out and make trax. ;)

Got about a foot when I left to work this morning at 8:00am. Was and is still coming down pretty good, visibility was terrible. Truck did great, as did my new Mastercraft Courser MSX Tour tires. At 62K I replaced the original Wranger tires with these. I always used the Courser's when I had my 3rd gen Ram and liked their winter performance. We were told to report to work. I got 30 mins South heading to work when I got texted saying the business closed today, don't bother coming in.

Just some lake effect flurries out here in Chicagoland since that storm passed to our south. I'm looking forward to some deep stuff though. It snowed the day after I bought my truck last Feb, but it wasn't enough to have any fun in.

Obviously we had it worse here in oklahoma than yall northeast guys did. I ended with 4 inches!

Sarcasm aside, It was warm enough down here that the roads didn’t get icy or accumulate any snow. I was able to drive normal highway speeds through some decent snowfall and didn’t have any issues. Even the bridges stayed wet instead of icing up, but the folks in the NW part of the state had it a bit worse that we SE-OK people did. I couldn’t live with the snow totals yall get up there in the north lol

Got about a foot here in southwest CT....a lot of wind so hard to give an accurate estimate.

My commute was unaffected (perma-work-from-home....thanks Covid). City plow truck just got stuck in the cul-de-sac at the end of our street, so now not sure if/when he'll come back to make another pass. Giving it some time before I go snow blow the end of the driveway, since Murphy's Law says he will come back about 3 minutes after I finish snowblowing.

LOL, We have not been here at home for a winter in 14 years. Those 14 years our winters were in the desert Southwest or Florida. Though I grew up here and spent my entire working life here and worked at times in the skiing industry. I must say that this really does ****!!
Of course I sold the snow blower years ago. Looks like I will be doing a bit of shoveling! It will be a little bit at a time over a two day period until I reach the end of the driveway where the plow crews have packed it in solid. That in itself will probably take another two days at
Old Fart shoveling speed.

CNY area, just South of Tug Hill. Got about 6 to 7 inches depending on where you were. Actually had to get the Kubota out and snow blow. End of the driveway was packed in from the plows.

Roads were not too terrible, DPWs got to them ok. Still plenty of snow though. My rig did okay, did put it in 4WD for a short period of time on one section that wasn't done to well, then continued on. Took it slow and steady. Might be the difference between IFS and a solid axle but it felt like I was sort of counter steering more in the 3500. The XT's have a lot more traction on the back then the OEM Nexens.

I am in NY also, Northern Westchester. Got about a foot, 10” in some spots and 14” + in other but would say it averaged a foot. Took the Ram out for her 1st lap in the snow. Not a long enough run to make a judgement but all felt good.

30 inches in Amsterdam just west of Schenectady on I90, easy to snow blow. Should have stayed in Hilton Head :33::33:
