WTAF, that's insane for a "stock" factory truck!RAM said it would do 4.5 to 60
Car and Driver just tested it 3.7
So the info is starting to trickle in. The embargo gets lifted tonight.
Tfl truck did a 0 to 60 on both trucks.
Roman and Tommy put the new Ford Raptor and a Ram TRX to an acceleration test near Reno, Nevada (about 4,300 feet above sea level). The 2020 Ford Raptor clocks in the fastest 0-60 MPH time of 7.02 seconds. The new 2021 Ram TRX runs the same stretch at the same location in 5.17 seconds. That is a huge difference.
Where are you getting that from? Can you imagine spending $95k on a 750hp truck only to find out it is slower than a stock Raptor?
From Shelby's site: "The amazing Shelby super truck has an MSRP starting at $86,085 for a naturally aspirated V8 powered pickup. The mighty 770 horsepower V8 will begin at $93,385 MSRP, including a well optioned Ford F-150. The trucks come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty"Where are you getting that from?
Lol... I thought you were comparing the Raptor to the TRX.From Shelby's site: "The amazing Shelby super truck has an MSRP starting at $86,085 for a naturally aspirated V8 powered pickup. And while TFL did not put the Shelby F150 directly against the Raptor, from the races they did do it appears that the Raptor would have beat the Shelby.
Until Ford revamps the Raptor I cant see how to even compare the two. Even then I think Ford is not going to be able to put something out that is in the same league. Ram (FCA in general really) has really stepped up their game over the past few years. Car and Driver claims they did 0-60 in 3.7 with a stock TRX. Thats supercar territory, and with a truck that costs less than $100k and could still beat cars that are more than double the price. I am just waiting to see when someone tunes a TRX.Lol... I thought you were comparing the Raptor to the TRX.
