Ram’ 702-hp desert stormer is going the way of the T-Rex after ’24.

Just like the dinosaurs, the Ram 1500 TRX is facing an extinction event. The high-output pickup is getting a special final edition for the 2024 model year and gives collectors and fans a final chance to snag one of the wildest Ram trucks ever.

The main points of the ’24 Ram 1500 TRX remain the same. Under the hood is the same 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 that makes 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. That power travels through an eight-speed automatic transmission before hitting all four wheels.

This helps the hefty, over-3-ton pickup sprint to 60 mph in a scant 4.5 seconds and tackle the quarter mile in fewer than 13 seconds.

Of course, that’s been the story with every Ram TRX to date. The Final Edition adds bead lock-capable wheels and special badging. There’s also a special Final Edition splash screen on the cluster and a badge carrying the production number of your TRX Final Edition.

You can count on range-topping features, like the upgraded Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, and effectively any option you’d want on your TRX.

That’s all the good news. The bad news: The 2024 Ram TRX Final Edition will start at $119,620 when it goes on sale before the end of the year. That’s a hefty premium over the current ’23 models. Still, that extra cost might be worth the extinction edition for truck collectors.

NOPE...$119K US..for a truck ...it would be interesting to do a cross section of the type of folks that buy one of these..!
Guys with lots of money Dave, lol.I have a buddy who owns a 2015 Hellcat / 2018 Demon / 2021 Red Eye / 2022 Super Stock, and probably another 3/4 million in old muscle cars, but i don't think he's on the hunt for a TRX,but i do know he's sort of looking around for a new Demon 170. You might say moneys no object for him,but he's worked his a$$ off to get to the position he's in

Dont forget the 10mpg, of premium gas to feed this animal. With the rash of thefts these days, I would be afraid to drive this anywhere. Neat piece though, way out of my limited budget.

The prices on these (and every other truck) have gone insane.
Earlier this year you could pick up a TRX for about $130k CAD.
Now look.

Saw one for $120K, Not worth it IMO, though it'll probably be worth something in 20 years.
