I hear ya, after a trip or two you might decide to learn how to fabricate and weld to switch over to springs and shocks :happy160:
You forget that I own a suspension shop ;)

No worries, dude. It happens.
I was just thinking the same thing quickly turned to a jeep thread. I am genuinely excited to see what you do to your jeep I’ve always liked your tasteful mods

The thread is about a Jeep so it's all good.

I'll have to start researching some practical and applicable mods for a desert cruising Wrangler.

Lol.. I was thinking more along the "we'll show the Jeepers"... ps, I'm a Jeeper too! Lol.
I show the Jeepers every time I go out. If there’s a Rausch trip coming I’m in!

Yup, I’ve gone to Rausch several times. That’s where my avatar was taken. I show people what a Power Wagon was designed to do.

@MADDOG Propably dont need to tell you when you get your Nitto's take it to a place that will balance them with black stick on weights. They also make some nice intakes to hear the turbo because who doesnt like the sound of a turbo.

Yeah...I'll want those weights and a road force balance as well. I'm thinking I can keep the stock wheels, 17 x 7.5", and get some decent tire width that fits safely on them.

About the intake... No Enabling Allowed. I'm sort of a mod freak as it is so making suggestions just drives me further down that road to insanity.

Yeah you can fit a decent tire on the stock wheels.
I am guilty of being an enabler you shouldn’t listen to me I’m a bad influence and have a lot of wives mad at me for making their husbands stimulate the economy

We'd definitely get along then.

I have a history of enabling starting with the '94 - '96 ImpalaSS and then the FCA LX owner groups. I didn't do such widespread enabling in the Ram community but I do have some friends and neighbors who caught hell after copying some of what I did to my 2007, 2014 & 2017 trucks.

You'll be back, the "Siren Call" of the Cummins Turbo Diesel will beckon you back into it's bosom.

My deleted and tuned 2500 has gone on to a new owner. It was a great truck and I really enjoyed owning it but lifestyle changes meant that it wasn't going to be used as a truck. No use having it sit around and not being used so it had to go.

So long, Laramie. Ya done good.

And now for something completely different...

2021 Jeep JL Wrangler Limited Willys Edition.

So it's onwards to new adventures with the Jeep.

Being a Jeep owner for longer than I have owned a Ram, I will say, "Nice Jeep!" :) My lovely and gracious wife (aka, she who puts up with me) has and loves her Jeep. If I ever had no need for my 2017 Ram 2500 (w/CTD), I would probably go the same route you did. I would probably consider replacing the 'stones soon afterward. Maybe their replacement tires are better than their OEM tires, but nobody affiliated with Firestone is saying either way.

One thing to consider with the Wrangler is the windshield being prone to stone chips/cracks... a few friends have had problems with this on their JK's of recent model years. At least one of them has done two replacements, and is not one to follow other vehicles too closely (that I know of). The Wranglers are a great vehicle nonetheless.
