Might buy a new Power Wagon. Used market for trade is nuts.

So I blue booked my 18 PW and I about ****. 49 to 54 trade in right now. My buddy's friend can also get me a huge discount on one for being a firefighter/law enforcement. I might just pull the trigger and do it. I'll basically end up owing the same amount for a brand new one. Couple questions for those who have the newer ones.......is it worth it to upgrade the stereo from the alpine to the other one? I'll be getting the leather package so it'll come with the alpine. I have the alpine now and I really like that. Also what about the rotary dial? Any other must have options. I currently have just the cloth rambox dual alternator. I'll probably go black again. I don't have the desire for the 75th because I don't care for the front grille. Plus it's a very spendy package.

trade it. I did the same thing. 10k difference in price but the same payment because they paid me so much for my PW. Leather is great as I hope you get the cooled seats. Other than that feature I don’t need leather.

If you want the Level 2 package plus the 12” uconnect screen, then the extra dollars for the 75th is not that much more because it includes those two things.

yeah I don't want the 12 inch screen. I still want the manual heat controls etc. Too much crap to go wrong. I'll have to decide how much I want the RAM box. I use it all the time but I can't get a wheeler in the back which kinda sucks. Also if I neeeed the sunroof. Then of course I could change to a different truck. laramie etc but when I build it out they get just as expensive anways.

Would anyone recommend or not recommend the rotary dial?

Are you going to swap out your new rims or go with the New PW rims?

I came from a 2018 2500 Cummins with the column shifter. The rotary dial took a few days to get used to but I like it. I’m not one to complain about new things, I hold my judgement for when/if things don’t work well, but honestly it’s been just fine. I especially like the placement of the manual shift buttons, exactly where your right thumb is. The little +/- switch on the column always felt awkwardly placed.

After a few weeks with the dial shifter I still find myself turning the radio up or re-setting the climate control. My problem with the +/- switch is if the steering wheel isnt straight up you cant reach the shifter making shifts on slight corners impossible.

My buddy bought a new Laramie 4x4 Diesel 2500 about 8 months ago for $65k. He sold it in 2 hours for $72k last week after using it as a shop truck for that time, so it got used for sure.

The exact truck I ordered in April with one slight difference I saw for $8k more.

Insanity.
