Earlier this year I had traded my 2018 1500 Quad Cab Express in for a 2021 Wrangler. About two weeks ago my wife made the comment we should trade her Chevy Traverse in for another truck and when needed she would drive the Jeep since we work the same T-F work schedule. Found a few classics I liked and after some haggling drove home in this new 2020 1500 Tradesman Crew Cab that had all the options plus a few my express didn’t. We absolutely love my wrangler but it’s nice being back in a Ram.

Changed the oil this past weekend.

Also checked with Summit to see if the wheels I ordered in May had their ship date improved from 12/31... and they gave me an updated ETA of the end of the month!

The brakes have been becoming more and more noisy(squeak). Went out and got pads & rotors. When I took the pads off, there was plenty of pad and just cleaned and greased the clips and the metal to metal contact areas. No more squeaking.

I like those feelings when you don’t have to replace a part you think you did!

Cleaned under the hood, also sprayed it in the fender wells, this stuff seems pretty good.
I’ve been wanting to do this. I bought my truck from a guy that works down on the Ohio river bottoms in KY. The motor is filthy with that fine silty sand. I’m nervous about the electronics etc. how do you do yours? I know to cover the alternator/ fuses, but what else should I be aware of?

Picked up my truck from getting my wheels powdercoated. I went from gloss black and milled to Prismatic Powders EVO Grey powdercoat.

I've been meaning to clean mine too. It's real dusty up in there. I was thinking maybe cover my K&N filter but I think thats about all I'd need to protect from overspray. I did find this:

Had 6 new Falken Wildpeak AT3 on Thumper. Inner rears were stuck but did come off , Anti-Seize is your friend on mounting surfaces ( NOT THE STUDS!!!)20210915_151211.jpg20210915_151251.jpg20210915_160036.jpg.

They couldn't reset the TPMS so I will have this done at the next oil change.

That is one bad *** truck, where did you get that hood?
Amerihood SSK style. Semi functional ram air but I do love the look and get compliments locally for it.
